"Liberal:
[1.] Advocating for state control on almost everything. (I just muted Damian).
[2.] Someone that advocated ignoring the Constitution, or
[3.] someone that trashes the Holy Father.
[4.] Someone that is an interventionist.
[5.] Someone that wants higher taxes and more spending.
If you fit into one of these categories, or if you are a troll, you shall be muted. "
1.) Socialism was around before Marx. Marx (and Engels) defined a political philosophy or a historic progression prediction if you prefer. Communism, in my opinion, is the same, economically, as socialism. Politically, though, this has never happened. The idea is that a dictator takes over until the time at which it is proper to give up control of the powers of government. The USSR was a totalitarian socialist country. China is similar to the USSR, but they are more socio-capitalist. I won't go on explaining as I believe you get the point. I am a communist in the sense that the political part is carried out along with the economic part.
2.) The Second Amendment has been interpreted incorrectly in a wild way. Guns are not to be distributed to everyone who desires one, but rather armaments should be ready and available for a free standing militia to defend against raids from Indians, or foreign powers. The 10th amendment lost the Civil War, thus, I don't believe it exists as the founders intended.
3.) I'm a Catholic. Pope Francis I seems to be an interesting fellow, and I do truly hope and pray he is a successful pope. I think Pope Benedict XVI was voted in as an interim pope between Pope John Paul II and the next "great pope". I think he used the power he wielded as pope in a very poor manner. He changed the mass based on (in my opinion) self righteous scholarly views, he failed to address the matter of sexual abuse in any way, and he gave up the papacy for the first time in 600 years, and the first time ever for reasons not involving the issue of multiple popes. He actually created multiple popes for the first time in 600 years!
4.) Syria
5.) In a capitalist society such as the United States, I consider myself a fiscal conservative. To this point, I believe the must fundamental responsibility of a government after the protection of its people from domestic crime and foreign invasion is the stability of its currency which is most fundamentally served by having a balanced budget. For this reason, I advocate cutting spending in defense, reforming social security, and melding Obamacare, Medicaid, and Medicare into one healthcare system, preferably single payer, and by doing this keeping the promises made to multiple generations of Americans. Because this will not balance the budget, I advocate adding a national fair tax on spending, a decrease on income tax from the current rates for anyone making under 1 million dollars per year, and a progressively higher tax for those making more than 1 million dollars a year in increments of 5% per million per year up to 90% at anyone making over 18 million dollars a year. I haven't figured out the math, but I assume the revenues would go up, and this is definitely raising taxes on certain people.
In conclusion, suck it
