Yes there were 2 in B and the winners of both B1 and B2 were promised promotions. Look to the last leagues rules for that.

And no, I don't have time to now that work has picked up and I have numerous new clients to support.

Yeah, 24 hours is straight out. I'm often only able to get online during one or two windows a day, and with the spread of time zones (and schedules) that leaves dangerously little time for serious negotiation with those that are not online when I am. And, of course, traveling/camping/whatever in any form would be hell.

I often find even 36 hours to be a bit lacking, if serious negotiations are going on.

Nothing obligates you to be in the leagies and a shift to 48 hours means taking the full year instead of 6 months to play the leagues. It is orathaic's call, but I'd leave it at 24 hours as it as always been so hopefully we can get back to two seasons per year.

Oh, I know. It's just a shame.

I'd almost consider a team game, but i fear that would violate site rules...

Maybe elsewhen... (the team solution is that you have two or three player in one timezone who are all able to access one account, your team needs to organise their own internal communications so you agree what to do and each day someone has time to negotiate. It's actually potentially a harder way to play... Though one player may basically take over and try to do everything... Better still would be the 6 hour/phase game with 4 players on each team in differing timezones.... Your basically pulling one shift per day.)

I'd have to pass on either of those, I'm afraid, ora. Great ideas, but not for me. I'm too much an alpha dog player who already gets told by his "allies" to quit telling them what to do. :-)

Oh, if they are 1 day phases, then if it starts before the second weekend of August I will need a pause then. If it starts after, then I will be totally ready.

In the past, the rules of the leagues have always required the players in the game to grant reasonable pause requests of up to 1 week (2 weeks for mods as finding a sub for a mod is more difficult) with requests over a puse being optional (they should find a sitter). I don't see orathaic changign that just because it has always worked and been fair considering the leagues take 6 months to play.
