Alright Triumvir. I think you'd be best as a TA. We can set levels though. How about a minimum GR of 150 to be a TA, and 100 to be a professor? It'll all depend on the volunteers I suppose

It shouldn't be a problem Ninja. Your points should refill when they hit 0 if I'm correct. I don't know if they would refill if you joined a 7 point pot game, but it shouldn't be a problem because it'll be a 5 point game.

What if I join a five point game, am defeated and lose all five point. Assuming I win enough subsequent games to get a net gain in points and assuming I don't lose enough games to get to zero, how do I get it to role over?

Emperor, depending on the length of those vacations, pauses can be in order. My SoW game was paused 3 times and still went along fine, but you know best if you can do it or not.

I'm not interested in playing in the game itself. I'll comment via the forum thread or assist a player in the game but I firmly believe that the game should consist of 7 newbies each with an assistant and the professors should simply comment on the game's recently completed season as the game progresses.

We have the players and just need a few more TA's.

I would recommend moving Leif up to a TA since he was unsure where to fit in and he has the highest GR of the students. Then we just need a pair of TAs to fill it out.

I can do whatever. GR somewhere in the 20-35 range... not sure where it is right now.

I can help if it is for a normal game

I'll be taking a couple one week vacations with no Internet access but if people are willing to pause I can play

We had plenty of pausing to go around in the grad student game that goldfinger and I participated in for the winter session. You should be fine.

When do we start a game? Around how long do they usually last?

I would consider being a professor, but not a TA again. I can't stand idiots who throw games because they are having a 2 year-old's hissy fit. That's what happened last undergrad game. I was a TA and the other TA stabbed me (and it was a good stab while I was stabbing a student. The student had a fit about the stab and actively worked against me and the rest of the students, giving the win to the other TA.

But I'm top 100 GR Rank, so I could be a professor.
