A lot of people have no idea how hard it is to give up a United States citizenship. If you really are worried about the drawbacks of being an American (taxes, draft, laws, etc,) read Emergency by Neil Strauss, that book will get you started on how to safeguard yourself against getting backed into a corner because your only citizenship is American.
Also, it would not be hard to dodge the draft if ever implemented, providing they do not change any of the exemptions. When I was removed from voluntary military service before ever serving, I registered as a conscientious objector, not because I disagree with war, but because I disagree with participating in one not of my choosing.
That, along with being a student (most likely for the rest of my life) will buy me enough time to denounce my US citizenship at any cost (mainly monetarily) and move away.
