Silverwolf has been active very recently - hence his amazing rise. Anlari should be free from Uni duties right now but tends to travel in the Summer I believe.

However, Ivo is down as first reserve and I will not wait too long to get this one started. I believe Ivo has a rather impressive all-time high in the ratings... ; )

if I'm not mistaken - silver wolf almost exclusively plays PPSC games... I don't want to disparage or anything ... but its not too hard to rise up with a ton of 17/17 PPSC finishes. (well ok, I did want to be a dip snob).

would love to see him in a challenging game like this... but I wouldn't wait up on him if I were you guys =)

I'd REALLY like to play with Silver Wolf, I've played more games with the rest of you than I'd care to remember (exception being Rait), even Ivo the alternate!! ;-)

Ok, I'm in, and thinking about it there is just a period of about 4-6 days where I will have no access to internet (Norwich by-election and possible trip to Portugal.).

Ivo, I am just waiting to see if either of two messages will be picked up and responded to. If they fail, you are the first reserve here on merit (and have a higher all-time than me anyway).

Hi Troodonte - oddly enough, it's a cricket tour to Oporto that happens every year with the Lords and Commons (UK Parliament XI). It's a good trip, plenty of conviviality etc.

What are the chances for the Tories to take the Norwich seat? It seems from my last two weeks and the local news that the dear Dr who is standing down was rather popular and somewhat more so than his party.

Apathy is the main problem. We are pouring in a lot of resources into the seat, but with the national press not paying much attention it is difficult to get much attention.

The local polls suggest a narrow Tory victory, but we'll see. I should be going up on the day before poll day, and polling day itself, so I should get a feel for how it might look.

Gibson was popular (the labour MP forced to stand down for the benefit of others), but the way he was forced to stand down with Labour will not help the new Labour candidate, and should ensure that plenty of Labour supporters stay at home. The Lib Dem candidate was parachuted in from another seat, even though she'd already been selected there. The rest have no chance.

Norwich is an interesting town. A lot of fat ladies so you might get some singing...
