@stormtrooper - I think others have alluded to this, but you seem to be conflating two concepts. I deduce that you're either a troll, an AnCap, or both. "Socialism" and "government" aren't the same thing. Both limit freedom, sure, but the former is a species, while the latter is the genus. There are other kinds of government that limit freedoms (for example, speed limits, or laws against theft). The existence of speed limits doesn't make a regime socialist, does it? Unless you're trolling, a better question might be: does the extent to which a socialist government limits freedom really produce a more virtuous and happy citizenry than other forms of government?
(PS: As an American constitutional conservative, I think the socialist outlook doesn't work in the long run. Either way, Stormtrooper should rephrase his question, because it'll produce better discussion (or continued trolling). Carry on.)
