As far as I'm aware, sending screenshots of anything is allowed. However, it should be remembered that screenshots are incredibly easy to fake.

So sending a faked screenshot is similar to making an untruthful statements to another player in a full press game ?
For example. Ja****99*k... "move to Silesia, not me, I won't be moving there" & then boomba, it's the Silesian surprise.
M*s**V. " yes moving to English Channel this move" and does a dirty stab instead..

PF is correct here. Yes MM, sending fake screenshots are an allowable deception. Note that not all screenshots are fake, sometimes I take screenshots when I'm too lazy to copy paste because it's actually easier.

Screenshots are considered to be press just like any other form of press. They are allowed.

Screenshots, like all press, however are still subject to the rule "Don't make unnecessary work for the mods", so screenshots pretending to show bugs or mis-adjudications or cheating are not allowed.

Lying about your draw vote is one of the most time-honored piss off your opponent strategies in Diplomacy. IIRC, I got pretty pissed at Valis at the Boston Massacre because I KNEW he was lying about not voting draw. In fact, he was telling the truth the entire time (first time for everything, I guess), but I'm still convinced he was lying.

Valis is offering a multifaceted interface between a spectrum of truth and other players perceptions of his veracity quotient. Remember Valis is an Almighty Mod, so you and I , we are three dimensional beings, well Valis has been initiated ( quite painfully, they say he soobbed and wept like a heartbroken brainbomb during his examination by the Grand High Inquisitor ) in higher dimensional affairs. Valis wants you to not trust that he can be trusted to be not trustworthy when you are convinced you should not trust him. Does that help?
