Did the GM's ever post a link to the past mafias?
Ikaneko (97 D)

Yeah, I'm fairly sure they did in the signup thread.
ghug said: "Ok Ika's Town."

Do you really believe this deep down inside your heart? If you do, please share your insight on it so that we can all benefit. I don't see it.

who here is the most confident in your scumread, and how likely do you think your target is scum?

What kind of question is that? Sounds almost as if you want to co-opt the reads of others rather than make your own.
Ezio (2181 D)

Ofc. Haven't you seen my d1's?

@Snowy: It is interesting that you think the game can be "solved" on day one.

By the way, are you still going to "prove 100% that you are town, before the end of this phase? I remain fascinated as to how you will do this.
TrPrado (461 D)

y2k: I don't know if I can agree with that assessment of Vash's vote for snowy. He was the one who started the wagon, and even if given snowy's performance as one that attracts votes, Moscow and Oztra jumped on and are still there, and Moscow's defense of his vote is pretty vague. None of them have really pushed him.

ghug (5068 D(B))

I am. Y2k is obvscum.

Ika's reaction to the ghug/Snowy/Prado bog we got mired in was a more legitimate attempt to change it. Everyone else was more whining and less action. He still seems to think I'm annoying and useless, which I like.
snowy801 (591 D)

It is truly a herculean task not to be rude to you, Jamiet. Suffice it to say that you need to reread. A lot.

I'd put my money on DO being scum. Where is she? Balki has posted walls after walls of megaposts in Survivor yet still finds the time to participate here.

She has repeatedly mentioned that she would dislike being scum and is likely discouraged from drawing that card.

Of course, given how she said almost nothing I am nowhere near certain.

rivera, the point of a policy lynch is not to necessarily determine scum, but to establish a certain criteria by which voting someone out regardless of your reads is on average going to be a net positive. Among my criteria for policies happen to be "=VashtaNeurotic".

But you are quite right that three people hopped on the wagon since. What does this make you think? Easily mislynched town being victimised? When you asked me that question I presume you had your own answer in mind, and I would like to hear it. What do you think of Vash?

Me, I think he's more likely to be scum that not, and given the proportion of scum to town is 5:14 that seems good enough for me.

"I'd put my money on DO being scum."
"Of course, given how she said almost nothing I am nowhere near certain."

You'd stake money on something that you're very uncertain of? You're quite a gambler snowy.

Tom: It seems incredibly premature to me. It's based on a very early gotcha, so I consider it highly unconvincing.

As an aside, games can absolutely be solved day 1.

Does anyone find Oztra to be scummy, other than ND? Let's talj about this.
y2kjbk (4846 D(G))
31 May 17 UTC
ghug i don't get at all how my vash vote seems to be all it takes for you to conclude i'm "obvscum"...
ghug (5068 D(B))
31 May 17 UTC
I told you already it was mainly the reaction the the crosspost.
Ezio (2181 D)
31 May 17 UTC
Ghug what % chance would you give y2k to be scum?
@y2k, you're so different. So mellow. Why do you think that is? How do I sort you?
snowy801 (591 D)
31 May 17 UTC
I would like to point out that crosspost doesn't mean what you seem to think it means
y2k, when you're finished with ghug could you tell me what you think about rdrivera?
Ikaneko (97 D)
31 May 17 UTC
@snowy Please, for the love of God, can we settle down on a topic? You've just jumped from DO to Oztra in the space of a few posts. Stop trying to steer the debate around and let it settle, we need some actual discourse and analysis in this thread. So let's talk about DO. Why do you believe that she's scum based off of a lack of participation when around half of the players have been nowhere near adequate in their partaking of this game?
Jamiet99uk (758 D)
31 May 17 UTC
"As an aside, games can absolutely be solved day 1"

Could this be an over-confident scumslip?
y2kjbk (4846 D(G))
31 May 17 UTC
i'm making an honest attempt to avoid my propensity to tunnel on my suspects, especially on D1 when we have zero confirmed info, if that's what you mean by my being mellow, Balki.

I just went back and reviewed rdrivera, he doesn't strike me as scummy in his participation thus far, he's openly engaging others, giving honest thoughts, and asking some legit info-probing questions.
ghug (5068 D(B))
31 May 17 UTC
@Ezio, 87.23951859%

@snowy, what does crosspost mean then? Also Ika is right. That feels weird to say, but you're saying things and then moving on without pushing them right now. Feels like you're throwing shit at the wall and not even waiting to see if it sticks.

@Jamie, do you know what a scumslip is?
snowy801 (591 D)
31 May 17 UTC
I didn't bring up DO. Ezio asked who I found most suspicious.
There's not much to talk about, either. She hasn't said much. I happen to know that she has been around and had the time to participate, unlike most other lurkers in the game whose state I possess no information on.

Oztra, on the other hand, did do something. Also of importance is that ND did something with regards to Oztra. It is evident to me which line of discussion will produce better yield.
Ezio (2181 D)
31 May 17 UTC
@ghug thanks for the level of precision. How accurate do you think your estimation is?

Is the voter fraud investigation a distraction?
Is it Republican Data mining? Beating a dead horse? Or all of the above. It feels like its designed to help Republicans gain shitloads of unsolicited free information about voters. Why else would they need such data? Why not trust the states - many of which are Red states to uphold fair elections.

New player - submitting support orders
Hi. Could someone please explain the syntax for submitting a support order? It shows up as: Army at X support move to Y from Z.
So, X is the supporting army. But is Y the Army that is being supported or the territory that they are attacking?
Thanks!

GB 3 Game Tournament
Being in the middle of a pretty long, drawn-out game, I feel the need to flex some tactical muscle. I'd like to propose a 3 game, semi-anon, 24 hour phase, WTA series. Preference is for a high reliability (<80%) and moderate to high GR. 25 to 50 point buy-in. Once we get the 7, games will be created and PW messaged out.

1) Hamilton Brian RR 98%, general GR position of 177

Magic Money Trees
The UK's totally bankrupt Prime Minister, Theresa May, told nurses they couldn't have a pay rise because "there isn't a magic money tree".

But this week there was £1.5 billion of magic money to give to some extreme-right Northern Irish homophobes with strong connections to terrorism.
