To the Pontiff--- I did whatever was in my power to correct the situation and I respect that you choose to align yourself with Austria. It is a difficult decision to align yourself with a Germany/Austrian alliance that you have tacitly been neutral to hostile towards up until this year. I think the Russia comparison to a genuine mistake was somewhat unfair but I'm sure that only comes across as sour grapes. If at some point you decide that my friendship suits your purpose then that door is open to you...though in a couple of years I suspect I may be too impotent to make a difference. To the Monarch---We have the numbers for Moscow this year. Well.. we don't seem to be getting anywhere England. The way I see this playing out is either Turkey or Italy prevails in the East and then they attack me and England makes some gains and the Eastern winner takes the win. Thats just my analysis at the moment.

I believe your semi-stalemate description was apt. We can trade Sweden and the North Sea back and forth for the next several years, but little else will change. What do you propose we do about it?

Well I'm assuming there wouldn't be alot of trust between the two of us to make alot of concessions (Move to Midatlantic, withdraw from sweden... etc). But if we did those things everything would be basically good again.

If you would like to pursue a ceasefire and if I operate on the assumption that you don't trust me one bit then I offer the single concession of holding Yorkshire. It may not seem like much, but it allows you to disband the unit the following turn. I would just order the rest of my units normally (because they can't do any damage).

I could offer an alternative to the Moscow situation. If the Czar will move to Warsaw, we will support him there. You would still have one supply center at the end of the turn, but you would probably have several nations seeking to hold your position, as it would tip the balance either way.

I'm not sure I'm going to be online again before the end of the phase (it is possible though) I am entering an order to support Sev into Moscow currently. If I am able to get online again and have reason to change that, I will.

Yes it did. In Turkey it is quite a common problem. Understandable when faced with the Austrian infantry, however.

I wouldnt mind playing with you again Spell of Wheels. I was off to a bad start. I am not surprised that I was dismantled. Live and learn. It was interesting game for me though, and I got some laughs out of it with the shots being dished out. Next time be more gentle with a fellow Czech. ;)
