I think that my position is quite fair, and as Sarg points out, my reservations are completely irrelevant. My only defense is that I have the status quo on my side, and whereas you may not find that convincing, I think it is quite an important point.

@CelticFox--yes, the New Testament is quite clear that we do not have the right to judge, as we all fall short of the standard, even the Saints and the holier-than-thou Christians. This has really been lost in the hyper-politicized Conservatism in USA politics.

And the idea that we think love is evil is not quite correct. There's nothing wrong with feeling love for someone else. It's more a matter of what you do with the love--just as a man and a woman can sin in the way they express their love, so can a man and a man.

I think that I'm doing the opposite of fear mongering here. I expressly disagree with gay lifestyles--in fact I think they're sinful--but that doesn't mean I spread fear and hate. You may not agree with me, but I hope you can at least respect the way I'm going about it.
