Rules: What will happen, if...
Hello. Could you please explain, what will happen in the following case. There are 4 areas: 1,2,3,4, team A occupies 1 and 2, team B - 3 and 4.
Team A moves: Army at 1: move from 1 to 3; Army at 2: support move from 1 to 3. Team B moves: Army at 3: move from 3 to 2; Army at 4: support move from 3 to 2. What will happen: nothing? Or team B's army will move from 3 to 2, team's A army at 2 will be dislodged and team A's army will move from 1 to 3? Thanks for clarification.

Valentine's day is not for just women, surely it is for both? This valentine's day the girl I'm dating came round and cooked me dinner, and then we went to bed. Who needs steak and BJ day when you can get that on Valentine's day anyway?
Draugnar (0 DX)
15 Mar 13 UTC
You are so 24 hours behind the times. We already went over this in the Happy Pi day thread (it was also Pi day) and there is nothing "national" about it because it isn't a recognized day or week or month (like last months' Black History Month). I could just see the PResident signing into a ffect a "Nationonal Steak and BJ day".

Jamie speaks the truth. Both mean and women can hate Valentines day with equal vigour.

I don't believe in Valentines day. It doesn't even make sense to me. If I buy my SO flowers and candy and act all romantic on Valentine's day, I'm doing it because I'm supposed to, not because I mean it. My wife of 19 years has stated agreement with these thoughts.

But then she left me 2 weeks ago, so what the fuck do I know?

@alderian masturbate to the vilest pornography of a woman who looks slightly like her? That's what the rest of us do.

@Alderian - Never listen to what a woman says. She is just saying what she thinks you want to hear. Her boyfriend finally gave her that pearl necklace on VD Day, so she dumped you for him.

@YJ - Been married 24 years. I think I know how to read women. When it comes to holidays and birthdays, they say one thing but mean another. Even when it comes to joint purchases (like the recent Benz purchase) they will be agreeable just to be agreeable and then say they didn't really want what you bought so they can hold it over your head.
Alderian (2425 D(S))
15 Mar 13 UTC
@YJ, you masturbate to vile porn of a woman that looks slightly like my wife???

@Draugnar, yep, I'd noticed plenty of that over the many years and I tried over and over to tell her I wanted to hear what she really thought and that she shouldn't take my opinion as a demand.

Women, seriously, we want to know what you really think and if we share what we think, do not interpret it as a demand!

Back to the OP subject, I light of pi day, I was thinking that on "Talk like a Pirate" day, financial institutions should offer 3.14% interest rates.

I do celebrate "Kids are back in school" day every year, does that count?

Our last dog from the pound (Marbles)...she visited with, we played with it in the yard, SHE said let's get it and SHE filled out the paperwork, and now swears up and down she didn't want the dog and it's all my fault we have it. (Dog is *very* sassy...cattle herder...smart dog...). (Except, in moments of weakness, she says it's her favorite dog ever...lol)

We have two bunny rabbits. She picked out the first one, then a couple months later the research she did said bunnies do best in groups, so we started looking for one. We found a white dwarf in a pet store not knwon for small animals that was clearly unhappy. I picked it up and played with it a bit and she said it needed a good home as it was lonely there being the only one so *we* took it home. Now I forever hear it is *my* rabbit. I clean the pen and the hutch and change their corner pans and water and feed them every night. She just lets them out during the day to run around their pen and maybe gives them some more hay and water if they need it and turns on a light so they can see when it gets rainy or the sun goes down, yet I am always hearing how I don't love the bunnies and don't do enough with them because I don't spend all evening downstairs talking to them (they respond to voices positively) like she does when she is doing laundry downstairs (they are in the unfinished half of the basement along with the washer and dryer and hot water heater and furnace and stuff). Geez, I do all the dirty work - the nasty smelly disgusting cleaning job as well as the same feeding and watering she does, but because she is home and already in that part of the basement doing laundry when she talks to them, she must love them more than me...

Geez you guys sound a little bitter. Yeah just saying I don't need a special day to cook or do whatever to please my husband. Then again I think we're still considered in that honeymoon period so what do I know. Though I do expect flowers around Valentines Day (tehy're way to expensive day of Valentine's Day), but I tell him that straight up every year.
krellin (80 DX)
15 Mar 13 UTC
Annnng...enter Celtic....the woman...the walking contradiction:
** "I don't need a special day..."
** "...I do expect flowers around Valentines Day..."

She's actually worse than the usual woman, because she claims we dont' need special days, and then says that you had better pick some *random* day (and it had better be the *right* random day...) around the special day (upon which she no doubt expects chocolates she can eat while mourning her already wilted flowers...)

Mr. Celticfox...we all pity you, you poor bastard!

(kidding Celti...)

And well isn't he getting the better end of that deal anyways. He's not exactly having to beg for anything the entire year but I get flowers once a year. Maybe I should up the stakes a little.

@abge - It's not hard, just messy when they have had carrots or grapes cause their poop isn't the nice little clumps of hay extract.

@CF - Not bitter at all. I just want her to tell me what she wants and not either a) just be agreeable or b) decide I'm not doing enough around the house just because she works there while I am off earning a livign so we can pay the bills.

It's one of those "he isn't here so he must be goofing off" perceptions that pisses me off. She wants me to not work long hours and not bring work home but she doesn't want the pay cut that an 8-5 only time-clock punching job would bring. She wants her cake and to eat it too and, well, I don't see many bookkeeping clerks or held desk support techs driving Mercedes and drapping their wives in gold and diamonds (10th anniversary band with two rows of 5 diamonds each, eternity band with diamonds all the way around for the 20th, and now she wanmts one of the past/present/future diamond rings with three much larger diamonds for our 25th next January and I will inevitably get it for her cause I get her what she wants).

Draugnar, you are a beautiful beast. There is no doubt about this. Some of your posts are pearls, I think about framing them and hanging them up in my bedroom.

But, having followed you here for quite a well, and I say this with all due respect, dear sir, I think I speak for everyone on this forum if I say that any woman who would have you deserves fresh flowers every day and a lovey-dovey kiss before bedtime every night.

That being said: who the man? You the man.

Why full press live games?
I've seen a lot of live games advertised that are 5 minute phases that, once I click on them, are full press. Why? I find it hard enough to get in gunboat orders in 5 minutes once the game gets going. What is the draw to such a game?

The forum automatically detects excessive posting and duplicate posting. Can it catch "live game" with a simple update? Provide a message and reroute to the live games thread? In that vein, can it catch various phrases regarding cheating accusations?
