First, the thread in question only hurt one person: the OP. Everyone including the target knew that thread was full of shit and not worthy of anyone's attention.

Second, I was not bumping it back to life; that was someone else. I was merely responding after it was at the top.

My thoughts exactly. I thought Draug had turned over a new leaf seeing how he has gradually become more friendly over the past few months, but now I see he's back.

Are the trolls REALLY so desperate that they can't troll other threads, and they need to resort to creating threads to insult a SPECIFIC and generally well respected individual to get attention? It would seem that the poltergeists of our forums are resorting to the tactics that teenage girls use to get attention.

Whatever happened to the day when trolling could be refined, well versed, and could make people drip with anger? All I see here is people bitching and moaning about it. Sure, at least some of them are able to admit error, but then some of their critics take up the mantle. This is embarrassing, Draug.

Draug I really do mean this nicely. You are really funny guy and a great member of the community, but you are a little bit of a hypocrite. It's not that your point doesn't have some merit, but you don't exactly have best record yourself. It's a bit like "I used to be a bad ass, but now I have turned over a new leaf, everyone else has to live up to my moral superiority - that is until I change my mind and do whatever the hell I want again". Granted you have made your point, but you aren't the only person with a special license to "make points".

Of course there is another way of looking at this thread. Yet another piece of brilliant comedy from the King of the Forum - Draugnar. You keep us entertained. So I don't really mind your (occasional) rants, just so long as you don't stress yourself out unnecessarily.

There was a point to this thread folks. I intentionally went OTT to make it clear that constantly bumping krellin's CM insult thread with all those nasty insults in the main post was rude. When I asked in the other thread that they stop responding seeing as krellin had done what he could to make amends, abgemacht essentially asked who appointed me as a forum cop. He may have used the smiley face ": )", but coming from a mod when the mods have declared us all to be forum cops (that's what self moderating is), I found it rude and insulting and decided to do this to make my point clear.

After I did this, people suddenly stopped responding to the other thread and krellin even pointed out he wasn't going to any more. So my point got across to them.

But the point was made and this is my last post to this thread.

So I'll conclude with an apology to abgemacht. I still think a mod shouldn't even joke about someone being a forum cop when the mods have declared the forums self moderating, but this thread, while having it's desired effect, was pushing the line. For that I am sorry, abgemacht.
