So many threads lately have been dark and angry... How about we all lighten up with a game of Ankara Crescent? Standard map and the '46 revisions, if you don't mind.

I send my soldiers in with a pincer movement from all sides. Monte Carlo is enveloped, then destroyed by a nuke because I didn’t like those soldiers anyways. Have fun playing poker in hell.

The second rule of Ankara Crescent is not, in fact, the same as the first rule- rule two just says that you can only play in a tearoom between the hours of three and four in the afternoon. But nobody ever brings up that rule because to do so would be to break rule one. =)

I don' give a fuck where the nuke is so long as I get to keep playing Poker in Monte Carlo. I'm up 6.5 million pounds, having moved from small stakes to medium stakes and now high stakes. The cards are going my way. When I'm through, I'll just buy Ankara Crescent and make whoever occupies it pay me rent!
I refuse to sell, instead collecting billions from the insurance company, putting the US insurance industry on the rocka and tanking their economy. After rebuilding, I offer to sell Ankara Crescent to largeham for three times its value.
The rent comes do on Ankara Crescent and I collect from largeham by flooding his bunker with water, shorting out all of his electronic equipment, then hacking his Swiss account and transferring the funds to my Caman Islands account.

I CDed first thing in a gunboat earlier today. My bad. Thanks to kind.of.slow for wiping me out so that 'Resign' tag on my profile stays at 1. I think the best time to CD is right out of the gates; at least the game can develop without any nasty surprises. I'm curious what the WebDip hive mind has to say on the topic.
