It has 3-4 areas for board set-ups, a kitchenette, hallways, corners, and balcony areas for diploming.

Ab will be posting pictures to this thread. I took the pictures when it was winter here so there was not any furniture on the balcony at that time.

I have signed a contract and left a security deposit (Good thing we have bouncers!) Thanks to everyone who has registered and paid. I was able to sign and pay for the rental, with the confidence of knowing that you are serious and that this thing is a GO! And there is no refund, so there’s no going back now!

Real Tournament will start at 9:30 AM Saturday June 11, Coffee and light breakfast will be provided. There will be a lunch break, Game 2 will start promptly at 3:30 PM and end no later than 930 PM. Depending on the cash situation, snacks/pizza will be provided. Game 3 will start Sunday at 9:30 AM and run until 330 PM. We will need to start both days on time and end on time.

No smoking or alcohol will be allowed during the tournament. However, there are many nearby clubs to chill or blow off steam after the 2nd game.

There will be an informal dinner of some sort on Friday June 10 held at a place TBD

Nice try Babak but we are going to have Nametags with our Webdip names on them! There is no escape from your identity this time Yahahahaha!

My FTF style sucks, I think I will lose all my games. But that reminds me, we are going to set up a live game one weekend soon for FTF people to practice getting the fast pace of things.

I love it ... count me in if there is room (I live right up the way). I definitely need some F2F practice, so if anyone is setting something up, let me know. (assuming there is room for me in June, of course)

From someone who has been to internet meetups, I'd suggest putting your Alias on a nametag, and then your real name under it.
It may take a while for people to not call you "Thucy", but they'll get it as long as they can associate your alias and real name each time they see you.

Damn, DJ is flying in, too? I'd soooo be there if I could afford to run out there, I just don't have the time nor money. We'll need to do a midwest one next year....
