Technical Issues in World Diplomacy Game

In http://www.webdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=47406 it appears that the convoy feature is broken. Of the 4 players left in the game, 3 of us encounter errors when we try to submit orders to convoy a unit and are unable to access the feature.

Is there a way to repair this without breaking the game?

Explain why these moves work

Germany: F Sweden to Norway, A STP S F Sweden to Norway, F GoB to Sweden.
England: F Norway to Sweden (fail) (dislodged)

There was other stuff happening too, but the relevant question is: why did GoB succeed in getting to Sweden if Norway was going there too?

Poor form player

Details to come later but a certian player just refused to draw/cancel the game when his neighbor went into CD in the first year while all the other players voted for Draw/Cancel

Thank you, finally! I had seen this coming ages ago and avoided his games. Trip and I had had a good private discussion about this one. He has just, presumably also been banned from a 200

game, he was clearly building up points with Memilio, his other account.

Cheater!

frankfitzer in gameID=105443 is quite obviously cheating!
I would like this game cancelled and frankfitzer banned along with all those who do not follow the rules of the game and the site forum!

It is terrible that someone would register at this site and not follow forum and game rules, they just ruin the experience for everyone!

One the one hand, yes, what you are describing may be cheating. On the other hand, DO NOT POST CHEATING ACCUSATIONS ON THE FORUM!

i have played 2 games with my brother and we've allied both times. is it metagaming? i dont know, i guess it is in the strictest sense since i am using outside information to make my decisions about who to trust and who to stab. as long as you disclose that he's your brother before the game, there isnt a problem, i dont think.

You also have to be open to fighting him. If you enter the game knowing you will be allies, you are cheating. It's a prearranged alliance and is strictly against the rules.

right, but my point is that playing with a friend or family member isnt against the rules. and neither is repeatedly allying with that player. you are allowed to ally with players who you think you can trust. everyone does that in every non anon game

Again, entering into a game knowing you will ally with the person is clearly spelled out in the site rules as cheating and is a bannable offense.

not explicitly, no. but lets say i entered into a game with you and lando. i would want to ally with lando before the game started, rather than with you. that isnt cheating. it would only be cheating if i wasnt willing to change my mind or if we had sat down together and committed to an unbreakable alliance

I've always been rather nervous about games with people I know. I have this unexplainable urge to beat them to a pulp, which I think works against me sometimes. More than I do with other players, I mean.

I suppose that's technically metagaming, since I'm allowing outside influences to decide my gameplay. Then again, I've never done it to the extent that I would consider it cheating.
