The thing for me is, what makes someone a good player in your eyes?

Ivo-I have been wanting to play you again. We havent played each other too much and I think I stabbed you early in the game at least once and never really got to play with you. Sorry about that. ;)

I've been thinking about taking a break from Dip, but the chance to play you is intriguing.

Ivo, I've missed you. I'll play. Shorter rather than longer phases. I'm always looking for another opportunity to let you kick my ass.

What is the buy-in?

I am in few games now and would really like to join a game with such great players like Ivo, Crazyter and BESM.

Ivo, since I don't usually get to the forum and I'm easily confused, will you message me(I hate using a noun as a verb) when the game is on. 300 is a good number if you want a suggestion. PPSC is better than WTA since it makes me feel less hopeless when I get Italy, but I'm game for either. ttfn

To the other questions:
WTA or PPSC. I actually don't care. However I stated WTA in the beginning, so unless everyone is ok with PPSC it should be WTA.

Points. Again, I don't care. I say let's make game one 250 and game two 25 ?

Pauses: Most likely we'll need to pause for Christmas. For two weeks at best, maybe more, until everyone comes back :)

Phases: Any preferences? I generally like 24h, longer than this breaks up the dynamic of the game, you play a year in a week with the weekends dedicated to silent retreat and build phases, and one has to come up with a lot of useless chit-chat to not look suspiciously silent... or is that just me? :)

24 hour phases would make me happy though 36 is alright. Not longer, I hate pauses but can live with 14 days at Christmas if it is a manditory, force restart the day it's due(say Jan 2 at 6). Can you do that Ivo? I'll play in either game or both.

Give McBry my seat then. I make it a point not to play with people who CD.

If you state it in advance, clearly one of us could forcibly restart your games for you, although you'd have to decide if being on time was really worth possibly loosing a player to CD.

Dude has one CD on his record. I have three and you've played multiple games with me, Draugnar.

In answer to the question, one missed move won't make someone CD,.but the lack of deadline for the end of a longpause screws up everyone's time planning. I'll do the game andgive the Christmas pause if, and on if, it has an absolute end. I don't care who plays. Revolutions are part of the real world. CDs happen in dip. such is life.
