30 Jan 11 UTC The other thing is that if we left Russia as-is, then, like you mentioned, it could allow them to start thinking about that stab on Italy... in that case, we concentrate on Austria/Med.
30 Jan 11 UTC (Added loose placeholder moves as well but those will change as we plan).
30 Jan 11 UTC You guys have made gains by the biggest luck ever, so don't go on gloating about yourself. You are still never going to set foot in the Med, I hope you realize that. Supports from GoL and West Med are going in. I am going to destroy Greece. You will get nothing more out of me for the rest of the game. And oh, stop insulting our intelligence by trying to get us to stab each other (much like I've been trying to get you two to stab each other haha)

Russia, unless you have objections, I will move to Armenia
30 Jan 11 UTC No objections Italy. I'll let you call the shots here for a bit. My apologies for missing a turn, it was a crazy end to the week. I'm getting on a plane in an hour for Nashville. I'll be checking in later in the day mostly this week.
30 Jan 11 UTC Hey Russia, its no big deal. I missed a turn too. support hold Bud and support hold Rumania with Bulgaria. Move Con or Ankara to Black Sea. We'll still get the stale mate even if you lose Sev. as long as rumania and Vienna aren't taken, we're solid and they can't touch us
30 Jan 11 UTC Germany, you do realize that if England takes Sev, he can win by wiping you out, which he can do almost instantaneously before Russia or I could come to your aid, right?
30 Jan 11 UTC *support hold Vienna with Bud* sorry about that Russia
30 Jan 11 UTC Of course Germany knows that. Germany also knows that I could have taken his SCs long ago... so what? ((stop insulting our intelligence by trying to get us to stab each other ... blah blah blah))
30 Jan 11 UTC Hey I acknowledged that I was being a hypocrite when I said that...
30 Jan 11 UTC Yeah, but then you said it again afterward...
30 Jan 11 UTC (heh)
30 Jan 11 UTC Should I apologize? And its shaping up to be a draw to me, unless there are more unexpected NMR's. I should have been aggressive. My fault for playing conservatively :(
30 Jan 11 UTC What's funny is that I was very draw-like for a few years (Germany was the pioneer in acknowledging that, but with last season's miss, he spirits seem to have been lifted.... oh, the funny part is that now you're in his position...
30 Jan 11 UTC I guess we'll see how the next few turns play out and eventually we may all feel the same. Once again, I was shocked to see I+R miss...
30 Jan 11 UTC Yeah, doesn't bode well when a whole alliance misses a turn together hahaha. Consider Portugal as a gift of peace from the Vatican to Buckingham
30 Jan 11 UTC What a gift!

(Also, Italy didn't wait till the last 30min to enter moves... :S)
30 Jan 11 UTC We've recently had a regime change in the spirit of everything going on in North Africa. Our new Prime Minister is much more proactive than the last one
30 Jan 11 UTC England - it would be nice to gain some SC to bring in another army for support. Could think about trading Warsaw later if you get Sev, giving me another army to bring in on italy (of course, if I gain Spain or somewhere, that would work too).
30 Jan 11 UTC England - to clarify, Sev is yours :).
31 Jan 11 UTC Hmm actually you have a good point, it might be worth just holding the line and seeing what happens. Can you put in a support to Gal from War? Also throw in your attack on Sev - we'll see what works out. I'm not sure about Vienna - I can put an attack in without risking our stalemate line.
31 Jan 11 UTC Yeah, I can sup Gal. If you have no risk in losing ground, might as well throw your attack in, Germany.
31 Jan 11 UTC Feel free to make a run for Spain as well. Can't hurt.
31 Jan 11 UTC Of course, if Gal hits Rum, then Sev will fall... but then so might Gal...
31 Jan 11 UTC No war -> Ukr? Looks like we're settling into hold/draw lines and unless someone is going to stab, my vote for a draw is back.
31 Jan 11 UTC Well, Germany, you asked for me to sup hold Gal from War, so I did...
31 Jan 11 UTC russia, I think there are opportunities for us in the east now. It will take some luck, but I think we may be able to get back Ukraine and Galicia, and for sure Sev
31 Jan 11 UTC Germany- if you hit Rum again I can get into /bounce Ukraine until I get in. sigh... thought the Gal sup was correct. We're still okay though.
31 Jan 11 UTC Italy, thanks for trapping and destroying Russia's unit.
31 Jan 11 UTC No problem England. I asked him if he was okay with my move there and he didn't stay anything. At the end of the day, there's still an army sitting in Armenia, and Sev will still be taken back next year. nothing changes
31 Jan 11 UTC I can easily backfill the East and with some of that luck Italy was talking about, we can control Rumania or Vienna.
31 Jan 11 UTC No, I'm pretty sure Sev will remain under British control.
31 Jan 11 UTC Sorry England - I missed that too with the change to give you sev. You're right - we should be good :).
31 Jan 11 UTC I think my last comment had info missing... "I missed that too with the change to give you sev. Luckily you're right, we should be good and you will be able to hold it."
31 Jan 11 UTC Sorry to burst your bubble folks. Rum -> Sev, Black Sea support Rum -> Sev, Armenia support Rum -> Sev, F Bulgaria -> Rum (bounce). In the fall, Black Sea support Bulgaria -> Rum. Budapest will never fall. Vienna will never fall, Venice will never fall, Spain will never fall.
31 Jan 11 UTC Oh, and with Armenia supporting Sev, Sev can't fall either.
31 Jan 11 UTC Speaking of that, Russia, after you take back Sev, could I move on Ankara so I can get a build in Venice? then I can push Germany out of Tyrolia and you can use Budapest to take Galicia
31 Jan 11 UTC And Russia, it actually is a really bad thing that your army is destroyed. I should've known better, my bad. Hopefully after you take Sev you can keep it open with a bounce and build there
31 Jan 11 UTC Oh, the back and forth...
31 Jan 11 UTC Moscow, Warsaw, Munich, and anything now in the backfield will ever fall after this year is over... at best, it is a dynamic stalemate line. I also agree that, as long as Italy sup holds Spain, the East is locked tighter than a Christmas cake.
31 Jan 11 UTC *never fall... oh the irony of mistyping...
31 Jan 11 UTC Once the backfield is filled in.... .... voting draw ( :/ )
31 Jan 11 UTC Russia, I'm sorry that Italy wants to take more of your territories. You won't see me asking the same of Germany.
01 Feb 11 UTC No matter how I look at it, as soon as the end of 1914 Gal and Tyr will become solid. That's your window.
01 Feb 11 UTC Russia - are you holding out for a massive turnaround in fortunes? This one's a draw, isn't it?
01 Feb 11 UTC Yep.... sadly I should have pushed more with tactics and less with diplomacy, I think this draw is my fault. My bad Russia
01 Feb 11 UTC Ah, Chargon, it was you who thwarted me this whole time!!
01 Feb 11 UTC We are revealed!
01 Feb 11 UTC goldfinger, you were a great opponent!
01 Feb 11 UTC Everybody was, of course (maybe not Austria and I never got to do anything with Turkey) but Italy was the biggest pain. :p
01 Feb 11 UTC Good game everybody. Sorry to lose so quickly! Public press was a fun variant.
