He was just our first real, ridiculous troll, and the whole thing got even more ridiculous when people began asking him who he actually was, you know, IRL.

He actually made some pretty specific claims. Only problem is that they didn't exactly.... check out. Much like most of what he says.

So basically we theorize he is around 10-16 y/o, but he lied and said he was a professor, married. Etc.

Anyway. That's the tale. Just imagine what he posts now, except much more inflammatory rather than just idiotic and inane. And with *even less* credibility.

I don't know if his comments are that inflammatory. Granted, I wasn't on the site at the time, but at first glance his threads/replies don't appear to have anything worthy of a ban. Certainly very high volume, but not too much worse than obiwanobiwan during a prolific week. He's also got a mild pathological streak but again nothing bannable in lying... this is a Diplomacy site after all.

diplomat was banned for the specific reason of posting the exact same thread about 50 times in a row, ostensibly, to push a thread that was offensive to it, off of the page.

Imagine this page that you are looking at, with nothing but the same stupid U.S.A!!! U.S.A!!! diplomat thread. It was spam for the sake of spam; nothing more.

Now kestas has safeguards in place to prevent this, as much as possible.

Yes Perry, TMW stands for Dr._The_Master_Warrior_PhD, the user previously known as Diplomat1824 or "Diplofool" to most forum users.

He was banned as Diplomat 1824 for being a massive troll, but the mods allowed him to start a new account a little later on. That new account is Dr._The_Master_Warrior_PhD.

We named it the Edi-bomb because Edi Birsan pointed out that you could just send messages to the chat box until the slip up scrolled off the top. This was before the message history screen.

A depth charge is similar but was used when we only had one page of forum posts to push a message off the bottom of the page.
