So me and my brother are one team. if we could have more 4 teams, we can play. but the problem is the random country. our ally could be a faraway country.

I'm considering it, but I probably need to know a phase length at this point (and some others need to know the buy-in). So, masopias, what do you say? Probably best to make this experiment unranked and very low buy-in, but how about a 2-day phase length?

I thought unranked was for experimental games. Otherwise, what we achieve in this game goes towards our (eventual) Gunboat rankings, which is maybe unfair, given it's semi-cooperative. But then again, I don't like to go into minute detail about rankings etc, so I'll play either way if it's 2-day phase length or greater. So, I am officially looking for a partner in this game. (Could someone post who's joined so far and what the teams are in a list on this thread, as I'm not 100% clear on it.)

@shield, all sounds good. Should the countries be a totally random draw? I'd lean towards yes because I'm not sure what fair should look like.

What about these victory conditions: your team wins if either 1) a team member solos, or 2) all rivals are eliminated.

Random countries would be fun. Not sure how to do victory... I would say you win if a team member solos. Otherwise the sum of centres for each team determines the ranking.
