ANNOUNCING THE 2015 MASTERS TOURNAMENT

FORMAT
----------

The 2015 Masters Tournament is a strictly WTA tournament. 7 rounds will be played, with each player playing every country once and every other player once. Scoring will be by the number of solos only. Quality of opposition and then draws will be the tiebreakers, should they be needed.

Games will be 36 hour, WTA games and a round will start on the first of the month beginning in September. Participants will be divided initially by random into their first seed games.

QUALIFICATION
----------

The tournament will have a hard cap of 43 players. Spots will be allocated by the following criteria

1. GR rank
2. Anyone with an RR of 95+

The current floor for RR is 95. However, should more be needed the remaining spots will be allocated amongst players with the highest RR.

Players who have dropped out of a site sponsored tournament in the past will not be allowed to qualify. As per stated in the rules of all site tournaments – those who drop out are removed from the next iteration of the tournament.

RULES
----------

I won’t go into an in depth discussion on the rules here. A few highlights: NMRs will be allowed to occur; If you NMR, you will be docked points, so please be like Marshawn Lynch and show up so you won’t be fined; there will be one person per month who is on “bye” due to 43 players but games requiring 7 each. Let me know if you have any planned vacations so I can slot you into one if possible.

There will be a tbd prize pot for the tournament.
