Canadian teams suck so that frees up some players for World Championship. Oh right, the best Canadians play for teams that actually don't suck, the American ones. Like the elite from every contender on the international stage.

Its not a real tournament and I've never watched it, I was just pointing out why its not a real tournament.

We wont need an excuse cause we'll win this time.

They should bring back the Canada Cup/World Cup, then there would be a national tournament other then the olympics that mattered. Its especially necessary with Betmans promise to not let NHL players play in 2018.

You're one of the many people who thought the US would win so you can't point to Sweden for an excuse there.

And the Olympics wasn't a real tournament when Canada wasn't winning it, which has been most of its history, and as recently as 2006 the Dream Team didn't even medal.
