unfortunately, we lost egypt in an ongoing modern gunboat game. two-day phases, buy-in 15. gameID=132764 the position is far from perfect, but it can be game-changing!

CD was a technology to hold music before the iPod came out. They are shiny, silver and round with a hole in the middle, kind of like a very very thin donut. But you wouldn't want to eat one.

As a player in this infuriating game, I of course support the decision, as I would have had it been any other game. Playing the game like that is just low.
Whoops, just saw this, as several people have pointed out already, the draw was only enforced when it was apparent France would take an unearned victory from delaying the game until a CD occurred.
The best part is that France thought he "broke" the stalemate by taking WMed when he was sitting at 15 centers. PLAY TO WIN DAMMIT.
Nice catch jmo. I was watching this game this afternoon when Austria was taken over in the live games thread. The stalemate was apparent even hours before it finished.

I don't mind that cancel and pause votes are out in the open, but I'd expect draw votes to be anonymous. That's how it was when I played FtF and on the email judges. Any particular reason why they are not anonymous on this site?
More akin to real life gunboat where we can chat about anything except the game. Does anyone do this? I prefer gunboat because diplomacy just takes a lot of time that I'd rather spend doing other things in my life. However sometimes it would be nice to have the option of sending a public shout out on some topic.
