i vote friendly sword

In the politics/morals/non game threads Babak and Crispminis always write clear informative posts that never decend to insults. Friendly sword is a little too much on a self promoting trip for my tastes. Ghostmaker is good for game based quesion threads as is (was?) wonderlama

There are several I would like to name. I have already been accused of being a troll and not sure I should even post. I admit some noob mistakes but nothing with malicious intent. Thucydides you are one of the thought provoking individuals here. Babak is another that has had me thinking. Jacob, Friendly Sword, MadMarx, djbent, Ivo_ivanov, Centurian, Fortknox. The same names keep appearing over and over again. I have had limited communication with most but have read much of what they have to say. The brutal honesty of Jacob and the eloquence of others has me often times hesitant to speak for fear of sounding like an oaf. I admittedly do not have the same command of the English language they have.

I don't appreciate not having the largest English repertoire. I do feel like an oaf when browsing these forums. I feel like I'm a foreigner talking to a civilization with an adaption to the English language.

I am also impressed with the uncanny intellect of those you mentioned have. Somehow, the more eloquent you are with words, the nicer you seem to be. Not always the case, but it is a generalization.

I appreciate all and there contributions to the threads except Putin ( Unrelentless troll from the George Orwell thread)
P.S. I think trolls are needed to spark debate and they can lead to some great reads

Sadly I spam the forum with my threads about me and contribute little else; I appreciate your support JCE, but must express my opinion that you are misguided in your judgement. :)

When he was posting, Chrispminis definitely had the most interesting and occassionally brilliant things to say; and was never an ass about it. Smartest active forum participant I've ever seen in these threads.

Lol yeah I think Chris should take the cake, wherever he is.

But DJ you do have a pretty good sense of humor.

@Dingle - I doubt hellalt will get nominated in the troll thread either. He tries to hard...
