MAFIA XXXVII: THE WHEEL OF WEB-TIME
----------------------------
This is the Game Thread for Mafia XXXVII: The Wheel of Web-Time
-----------------------------
INTRODUCTION
Mafia is an educated guessing game of epic proportions. The objective of the game (for the town majority) is to eliminate all the mafia members and or third party before they outnumber the rest of the town. Each player receives a role PM with a specific win condition. The game is typically active, so the thread will get big quickly. It is essential to read the thread and game instructions to play the game.
GENERAL RULES
0. The GM reserves the right to adjudicate individual scenarios that arise during the course of the game at his discretion.
1. All players must vote at least once per game day, and post at least twice per game day.
2. All players are forbidden from posting screenshots of their role PMs.
3. All players are forbidden from using encryption.
4. All players are forbidden from using non-sanctioned PMing, or copied mechanics.
5. All spectators and players who have been eliminated are forbidden from posting on all comment threads related to the game notes.
6. All players are forbidden from cheating.
7. All players are required to play to win.
8. Players and/or teams may not concede the game in public.
9. All players must not +1 other players' posts.
ELABORATION
0. Given a lack of omniscience, the GM cannot create a rule to resolve all possible scenarios pre-emptively. To compensate for this, the GM is permitted to resolve a given scenario however they see fit, within the remit of the rules listed above, in the interest of all participants. The GM will resolve all scenarios as closely as possible to the intention of the rules, and will present an explanation regarding the adjudication to the greatest possible detail (which does not compromise anything in-game) and as closely in accordance with the written rules as possible.
1. You MUST cast a vote at least once during each day phase. You may vote and then 'unvote' (see below) if you change your mind as the Day progresses, however you may not end the phase with an 'unvote' in place. Anyone violating this rule will be modkilled unless there are very extenuating circumstances. Ending the day with a vote on “No Lynch” is permitted. During each day phase, every player MUST make at least two game-related posts. The GMs will use reasonable discretion when applying this rule.
2. All role PMs have been posted in the setup information. The point of this rule is to forbid "gaming" the role PMs to determine alignments; after all, the fun of this game is reading people, not outguessing the GM. Additionally, I have included an order of adjudication and notes on potential scenarios.
3. Encryption is defined as posting an encoded message on public channels that an average person would require outside software or other tools to decode. It is perfectly acceptable to leave "hidden messages" in your posts (for example, spelling out "I AM THE COP" with the first letters of every sentence), but as a rule of thumb, if you don't think the average user could decode it without a decryption service, don't post it.
4. All in-game communications should be kept within the thread. Only GM endorsed QuickTopic threads can be used for communicating with one another outside of the main game thread; aside from this, there should be no other forms of private messaging between players. You may PM the GM with questions or instructions.
5. Players who have been removed from the game are no longer playing the game, and will not be permitted to comment on it in private messages or comment threads. A special QuickTopic "God Thread" will be opened for individuals who wish to spectate on the game, or players who have been eliminated. Use this channel to discuss the game while it is still ongoing.
6. This is a catch-all rule intended to preserve the spirit of the game. If you are considering saying or doing something that may be against the spirit of the game, message the GM about it before saying/doing it and the GM will let you know whether it is allowed or not.
To clarify further: Players may not copy and paste any game related Mechanics. Players may not doctor, and create fake game related mechanics. Players may not share personal correspondence between GM to player under any circumstances. The GM will not confirm any claims, or adjudicate based upon anything that could easily be sorted out through questioning and evidentiary circumstance.
7. This rule simply means that your actions should in some conceivable way advance your win condition as stated in your role PM. This rule is somewhat subjective, because the difference between a mistake and sabotage is sometimes hard to determine; the GM will exercise caution and restraint in observing this rule. This also means that if you need to leave the game for any reason, you should not simply drop out, but should message me or the Co-GM first so we can determine the best course of action.
8. If someone wishes to concede defeat, they must PM the GM, or post in their relevant QT thread for the GM to check it over. Public concessions are not permitted.
9. You are not permitted to click the "+1" on any other player's in-game posts. Giving +1s to the GM, by contrast, is actively encouraged.
10. You may contact the GM in-game by writing ##CALL GM and then stating your question. The GM or Co-GM will answer if appropriate. This can also be done for vote checks, rule clarifications, or uncertainty and will be answered if appropriately phrased.
11. We will be using time.is for EOD and EON adjudication.
PENALTIES
The penalty for breaking one of the above rules is decided at the GM’s discretion, up to and including immediate removal from the game and/or sanctions from future games. Removal and/or sanction are instruments of last resort and will be used only if absolutely necessary. Sanctions such as future bans will be determined by the consensus of the active player base after the game has concluded. A player removed from the game may or may not have their role revealed on removal, depending on the circumstances surrounding their removal.
ROLE ACTIONS
If you are a Town Power Role or otherwise have any actions to take, please PM your action to the GM. Night actions will be processed at the end of the night and can be changed up to that point. The Mafia team may submit their individual night actions in the Mafia QT. The Mafia-Aligned role and Serial Killer may individually submit their actions to the GM via a PM.
MISCELLANEOUS NOTES
SPAM
Spamming (defined as excessive content-free posting; or, excessive posting regarding subjects irrelevant to the game) is not mod-killed by rule in this game. The in-game voting mechanic exists to curb any advantage that spamming as a tactic may confer; please reference the “VOTING” section below for more information. Suffice to say that spamming is not worth anyone’s time in this setup, and will be frowned upon, so while you may not be lynched or mod-killed for spamming, please refrain from doing so.
PLAYER SILENCES:
Players that have other participants on their mute list are asked to remove them for the duration of this game. Disputes stemming from outside of this game should not carry over into the gameplay. If they do, the GM reserves the right to address these issues and potentially remove or sanction players if it becomes a disruption.
FORUM SILENCES:
If a player is silenced on the forum by the site moderators/admins, an alternate will take their place for the duration of their silence. The silenced player will then have the option to take their position back over or leave it in the hands of the alternate. As long as the silence does not stem from actions involving the mafia thread, there will be no in-game sanctions for a forum silence.
REPLACEMENTS
A player wishing to drop out may be replaced at the GM's discretion. Individuals wishing to serve as potential replacements must NOT join the out-of-game God QT. Replacement is not guaranteed.
TURN DURATION
This game’s Day phases will last 48 hours and Night phases will last 24 hours, unless cut short by in-game mechanics (e.g., hammer). Extensions may be granted at the GM’s discretion, but don’t count on it. Phase shifts will be at 5PM EST or 9PM GMT.
VOTING
There are three types of voting within this game: collective voting to execute perceived Mafia in Day phases, collective voting to end a Day or Night phase, and Mafia voting to kill town members in Night phases.
“Lynch” vote: The first level of voting is for whom you intend to kill. Notate this vote with a pair of hash symbols before your intended vote target. (e.g., ##VOTE ND) You do need to write out the player’s name in a legible way. If the GM cannot understand it then it can’t be counted. Two hash symbols followed by the word vote and the player name is a must for counting the vote. In the event of a tie during a lynch vote, no one shall be killed.
PLEASE NOTE: If you do not use double hashtags your vote will not be counted, for reasons of fairness but also because it is unlikely the GM will see your vote using the CTRL+F feature and this rule thus prevents vote miscounts.
Must Vote: At the end of the Day phase, all participating players must have their vote on a candidate although a vote to “No Lynch” is permitted. You may ##VOTE and then ##UNVOTE if you change your mind as the Day progresses, however you may not end the phase with an ##UNVOTE in place. Anyone violating this rule will be modkilled unless there are very extenuating circumstances. Ending the day with a vote on “No Lynch” is permitted.
Hammer Vote: The second level of voting is whether or not to employ the hammer mechanic. By default, days are set to 48 hours long, and nights to 24 hours long; however, players may instead elect to activate the hammer mechanic. Notate this vote with a pair of hashes before the word end. (EX: ##END). The day will end as soon as a majority of players are voting to endhammer the same player. If you are not able to vote before the hammer is dropped, you will not be penalized for failing to vote during that day. Night phases may not normally be hammered - any exception to this will be announced by the GM.
Mafia Vote: The third level of voting refers to Mafia members choosing their NK (nightkill) target during Night phases. The mafia members will use their separate QuickTopic thread to discuss this. Please make your votes in bold, like so: kill Zultar (< b > kill Zultar < / b >). Mafia NK will be decided by whatever role has the power to night kill. This may be voted on, but ultimately the mafia role with the killing power will conduct the kill and make the decision. Please see the mafia role descriptions for further information about how the mafia night kill power will be determined.

ROLE Descriptions
Tracker
You are Perrin Aybara the Tracker. Several months ago the Aes Sedai, Moiraine, came to the Two Rivers. This changed your life dramatically. In the weeks and months that followed you fled and discovered a hidden talent. After you met Elyas Machera you discovered you had the power to commune with wolves thus you became a wolfbrother. Sometimes you are haunted by what the wolves say to you and you worry you are going mad, but through the help of your wolf friend Hopper you have managed to stay sane. Each night you may commune with the wolves and enter the world of dreams to track your foes. You may track one person each night and discover who they visited; if they visited anyone at all. Each day you may vote on who to lynch. You win when all foes opposing the town have been eliminated.
Doctor
You are Nynaeve al’Meara the Doctor. Several months ago the Aes Sedai, Moiraine, came to the Two Rivers. As the Town Wisdom you were responsible for healing the sick, but the arrival of the Aes Sedai changed your life forever. You decided to enter the White Tower in Tar Valon and become a Aes Sedai yourself so you could pay Moiraine back for ruining Emond’s Field. Well, she didn’t really ruin it, but you hate her all the same. You possess amazing healing powers and some say you will become the most powerful Aes Sedai in a thousand years. Each night you may visit a player and heal them of their wounds. You may not visit the same player two nights in a row. You may visit yourself, but not two nights in a row. Each day you may vote on who to lynch. You win when all foes opposing the town have been eliminated.
Jack of all Trades
You are Rand al’Thor the JOAT. Several months ago the Aes Sedai, Moiraine, came to the Two Rivers. The turbulent series of events led you to the Eye of the World where you discovered you could channel the One Power! This terrified you, obviously, as all male’s who can channel go mad and kill everyone around them. To make things worse, Moiraine said you were the Dragon Reborn. The prophesied figure who would defeat the Dark One and destroy the world in the process! All you wanted was to be a simple Shepard, but now you have to embrace your destiny before you go insane. Due to your new abilities you have several to choose from each night. Once you use an ability you may not use it again. You have a heron marked blade you may use once per game to kill someone. You may use your healing powers to heal someone once per game. You may also use your tracking skills once per game to follow a player and learn who they visited. Each day you may vote on who to lynch. You win when all foes opposing the town have been eliminated.
Veteran
You are Matrim Cauthon the Veteran. Several months ago, that blood and bloody ashes, Aes Sedai named Moiraine came to the Two Rivers. Your entire life was upended and you found out that your best friend Rand went mad and can channel the One Power and your other friend became a wolf. You are the only sane one left! Well, you think you are anyway. You keep having flashbacks to past lives and learned that you were some kind of military leader reincarnated. Then at Falme, you acquired the Horn of Valere which summons all the dead heroes of all seven ages back to life! You may use the Horn of Valere once per-game to go on alert. When you use the Horn of Valere you go on alert and anyone who visits you will die (see setup notes for further information on alert). You will be safe from any attack the night you go on alert. Each day you may vote on who to lynch. You win when all foes opposing the town have been eliminated.
Vanilla Town
You are an ordinary person. You live in the Westlands and make your home on Toman Head. You are fearful of darkfriends and the new invaders from across the sea, but try to live life as you can. You will seek out evildoers and each day you may vote on who to lynch. You win the game win all foes opposing the town are eliminated.
Ninja
You are Ishamael the Ninja. You are the Betrayer of Hope, and the most powerful of the Forsaken. Three thousand years ago you fought Lews Therin Telamon and were a famous philosopher. You decided to serve the Shadow as you knew that the Wheel of Web-Time would continue to spin forever and you would continue to be reincarnated until you broke the wheel. You serve the Dark One and seek to defeat the Dragon Reborn and by extension to break the wheel of web-time. In the Third Age you go by the name Ba’alzamon. You command the Dark One’s armies and legions of Darkfriends. Each night you may visit a player, undetected by trackers, and kill them. Each day you may vote on who to lynch. You win the game once the town and Serial Killer have been eliminated or nothing can oppose your faction from winning the game. You may communicate in the mafia QT with your partners the Roleblocker and Janitor.
Roleblocker
You are Liandrin Guirale the Roleblocker. You are an Aes Sedai, and secretly a darkfriend. You joined the Aes Sedai to obtain power, but your heart was always dark and sought out the Black Ajah. Now, you serve the Dark One and Ba’alzamon. You are beholden to no Aes Sedai oaths and wish to destroy them and all forces of the light. Due to your status in the White Tower you operate with impunity. Each night you may visit a player and roleblock them which will prevent them from conducting an action. If you are the last mafia player alive (not counting traitor) you will gain the power to night kill, but lose your roleblock ability. You can be tracked. Each day you may vote on who to lynch. You win the game when the town and Serial Killer have been eliminated or nothing can oppose your faction from winning the game. You may communicate in the mafia QT with your partners the Janitor and Ninja.
Janitor
You are a Myrddraal the Janitor. You were created by blending flesh and foul magic. This makes you a fade, half-man, and shadowspawn of the Dark One. You serve your master the Dark One and Ba’alzamon without question. Thousands of years ago during the Age of Legends you were created through biomancy to become an abomination that served the Shadow in the War of Power. You seek out those who cannot defend themselves so you may feast on their bodies. You take pleasure in the pain and suffering you cause. Once per game, you may use totally consume the body of a player who has been murdered through your janitorial skills. When you consume the body you remove all trace of them and no information is given to the town. You will learn who they were though and what their role was. If the Ninja is killed you will be able to make the mafia night kill but lose your janitor ability. You can vote during the day. You can be tracked. You will win the game when the town and Serial Killer have been eliminated or nothing can oppose your faction from winning the game. You may communicate in the Mafia QT with your partners the Ninja and Roleblocker.
Traitor
You are Ingtar of House Shinowa the Traitor. You are a respected soldier of Shienar and tasked with returning the Horn of Valere to Shienar. However, you are also a traitor and secretly a darkfriend. You serve Ba’alzamon and the Dark One. But, you do not know the identities of the mafia team and due to your nature as a deep-cover darkfriend for the Shadow the mafia team does not know your identity either. Each night you may visit a player. If you visit a player who is on the mafia team you will learn that they are a member of the mafia team. You do not have to visit anyone and you can be tracked. If all the members of the mafia team die then you will be able to make the mafia night kill action. You do not have access to the Mafia QT. Each day you may vote on who to lynch. You will win the game when the town and Serial Killer have been eliminated or nothing can oppose your faction from winning the game.
Serial Killer
You are Padan Fain the Serial Killer. A lifetime ago you were a Peddler in the Two Rivers, and secretly darkfriend. Ba’alzamon himself has turned you into ‘The Hound of the Dark One’ and you have a compulsion to seek out the Dragon Reborn. Somehow though, your hold has been loosened. When traveling the ways you were touched by evil powers not aligned with the Dark One. The Machin Shin, or the Dark Wind has driven you absolutely mad. In the pitch darkness of the ways you heard thousands upon thousands of lost souls screaming insane mutterings in your skull. You have become one with their insanity. Furthermore, you were corrupted by Mordeth a being of pure evil in Shadar Logoth. You have a compulsion to kill and are quite insane. You have become a force of pure evil, and not quite aligned to the forces of Light or Shadow. You want to kill everyone and everything. You are a Serial Killer and may kill a player each night. Due to your evil powers you are immune from night killing actions though. You may vote each day on who to lynch. You win by defeating both the town and mafia and being the last man standing.
Order of Adjudication
*1* -Veteran-
The Veteran goes on alert
*2* -Roleblocker/Tracker-
The Roleblocker and Tracker achieve Night results simultaneously.
*3* -Traitor Visits-
The Traitor may visit any player in the game.
*4* -JOAT Kill, Ninja Kill, Serial Killer Kill-
JOAT Kill, Ninja, and Serial Killer all perform their actions simultaneously.
*5* -Doctor/JOAT Heal
Doctor and JOAT may heal a player. These actions occur simultaneously.
*6* -Janitor
Janitor may visit a player once per-game. They will clean up a mafia-murder.
Order of Adjudication Notes and GM Adjudication for Some Potential Scenarios
1. *Anyone* who is killed at step *1* or step *3* is considered dead during their portion of adjudication. If they are healed at step *5* then their action is skipped and refunded (if they had one). The Doctor or JOAT who made the heal will learn via GM Message, “You have healed -name- successfully”, but the player attacked will not learn they were attacked or healed as it is considered a surprise and massive injury that they -blacked out and forgot what immediately preceded it-. The player who made the attack will receive a message, “The player you targeted survived the attack.” and they will lose their ability if it is a 1x shot via JOAT. If a person who visited the Veteran is healed then the Doctor will receive the above message and the Veteran will receive, via GM, “Someone who visited you survived your alert.” This only applies if the Veteran is on alert. If the Veteran is not on alert then they are treated as a vanilla townie for all intents and purposes.
2. If the Janitor visits someone who was targeted for NK during step *3* and healed during step *5* then they will arrive to find their target alive. The player targeted will learn, via GM, “Someone visited you in the night, but nothing happened.” and the Janitor will be refunded their sanitize and receive, via GM, “The player you visited was still alive and they noticed someone visiting them, but did not discover your identity.” If the player is dead when the Janitor visits them and that player was killed during *1* or *3* then the Janitor will sanitize their body. No information will be given at start of day other than that there was, via GM EON Flavor Text, “a puddle of gore and skeletal fragments in place of -player name-” the Janitor will receive, via GM, a message stating the role information of their target.
3. If the Veteran alerts and *anyone* visits them then they will die and the Veteran will survive all attacks that night. However, there is an exception. If the Serial Killer visits the Veteran then the Veteran will know, via GM, that “Someone who visited you survived your alert.” Everyone else will receive a death message by the GM and God QT unless healed which is discussed in point #1. Both the Veteran and Serial Killer will survive if the Serial Killer visits the Veteran the night the Veteran goes on alert any other night the Veteran will die to the Serial Killer.
4. The Roleblocker and Tracker go simultaneously. The Roleblocker, however, will roleblock the tracker if the roleblocker targets the tracker and the tracker will not achieve any results that night phase. If the Tracker follows the Roleblocker, the tracker will see whatever the Roleblocker does with the exception discussed previously. The JOAT Track result works the same as a regular tracker result and is adjudicated the same way.
5. The Traitor may visit any player in the game at night. Traitor receives a message at the end of the night if the player they targeted is mafia, via GM, “The Player you targeted is aligned with the mafia.” They do not receive any role information ever. The Traitor only receives a message, via GM, if they visit someone mafia aligned and do not receive a message if they visit anyone else including the Serial Killer. However, and this is a change from the setup, anyone visited by the Traitor will receive a message, via GM, “Someone visited you in the night, but nothing happened.” This is the same message for a failed Janitor visit. If the Mafia target the Traitor for any of their role actions then the Traitor will die like any other role in the game.
6. The JOAT Kill, Ninja (Mafia Kill) and Serial Killer Kill all occur simultaneously. It is possible for the JOAT and Ninja to kill each other if they target each other. If someone the JOAT targets in step *3* is healed in step *5* then the JOAT is not refunded a shot. It is not possible for the JOAT and Ninja to kill the Serial Killer even if both roles target the Serial Killer in the same night. They would just receive the message from point, “The player you targeted survived the attack.” Which is the same message they would receive if their target was healed by the JOAT heal or Doctor. If the Serial Killer is targeted by a night killing action they will learn, via GM, “You were targeted last night, but survived the attack.”
Mafia Night Kill and Roleblock Elaboration
1. The Mafia Night Kill is not based on majority vote. It is based on the Mafia Power Roles that hold it. There is no faction Mafia Kill or faction Mafia Roleblock.
2. The Ninja begins the game with the mafia night kill and can carry it out while being immune from the tracker. If the Ninja is killed then the Janitor will lose their Janitor power, become a regular Mafia Goon and carry out the night kill and decide the night kill. If the Janitor -Mafia Goon- dies next then the Roleblocker will lose their roleblock power and become -Mafia Goon- and carry out and decide the night kill. If all members of the mafia team die then the Traitor will lose their Traitor power and become a -Mafia Goon- get access to the QT and carry out and decide the night kill.
3. The traitor does not get the QT unless they are the last mafia player left alive. They will use this to key in their kill command.
4. If the Roleblocker dies or becomes a mafia goon then no one else gets the power to roleblock. That power is gone. Same for the Janitor, if the Janitor dies or becomes a mafia goon then the Janitor power is gone.
5. Mafia voting for the kill can be done as usual, but whoever the player votes for that decides the kill and carries it out is the only vote that matters and that will be the player who is killed.
6. Only the Ninja is immune to tracking. All other mafia roles can be tracked by the tracker.
FLAVOR POST
The Wheel of Time turns, and ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legends fade to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again. In one Age, called the third age by some, an Age yet to come, an age long pass, a wind rose in the Mountains of Mist. The wind was not the beginning. There are neither beginnings or endings to the turning of the Wheel of Web-Time. But it was a beginning.
Across the Westlands, near Toman Head and the City of Falme, an army from across the seas have arrived calling themselves the Seanchan. They are the armies of the High King returned, some day, or a horde of darkfriends. Whatever the case, a legion of Whitecloaks beholden to what they claim to be the light have arrived to turn back the invaders. In the midst of battle on Toman Head, a party of adventurers led by Rand al’Thor have arrived to claim the Horn of Valere while darkfriends in service to the shadow seek to oppose them.
In the city of Falme itself, Padan Fain serves the Seanchan Blood. The current Blood was just slain by Rand al-Thor and his allies. The Horn of Valere is gone. Padan Fain meets with another Seanchan Blood and learns his task, but he doesn’t really care. He simply wants to murder everyone.
“Yeesss, my Lord” Fain grovels and retreats from the door and the presence of the Seanchan Lord.
After Fain retreated from the door he paused in the hallway and then looked around hurriedly.
“I will be the one who retrieves the Horn of Valere and I WILL be the one who KILLS al’Thor and KILLS the Dragon Reborn!” Fain laughed madly at that and then paused as if he was carrying on a conversation with himself.
“BUT, I must be careful! Yes, very careful. al’Thor has many friends and they are all hiding; hiding like RATS! Waiting, yes, waiting for their chance. I must be careful! The Forsaken and their allies are here as well. ALL of them trying to kill each other! If I am careful, I CAN KILL THEM ALL.”
Padan Fain smiled madly and brushed his hands on his dirty clothes. With that he walked out of the Seanchan Blood’s house and into the streets of Falme. A rush of wind passed him as he stalked out and the air was ripe with death.
What pattern will the Wheel of Web-Time spin? Who will win MAFIA XXXVII? The forces of the light, shadow, and Padan Fain the Serial Killer will all compete to win MAFIA XXXVII: The Wheel of Web-Time!
The Game has now begun! You may now post.
This is the Game Thread for Mafia XXXVII: The Wheel of Web-Time

Re: MAFIA XXXVII: THE WHEEL OF WEB-TIME
Also, full disclosure/anchors away, I'm playing the Fantasy Sim in addition to this
Re: MAFIA XXXVII: THE WHEEL OF WEB-TIME
I also prefer ending phases an hour early (at 5 PM ET rather than 6). But I think we will have to point out that the phase is ending an hour early (at 5 PM ET rather than 6) many times before everyone remembers that the phases end an hour early (at 5 PM ET rather than 6).

Yes it is great for anyone in my timezone that we have deadlines at 5 PM East coast time, since that is 11 PM over here. The game will become a lot more humane for most Europeans to take part in (maybe we can attract more people from here to take part, not only nerds like myself).Foxcastle wrote: ↑Wed Jul 11, 2018 9:18 pmI also prefer ending phases an hour early (at 5 PM ET rather than 6). Re: MAFIA XXXVII: THE WHEEL OF WEB-TIME
Unlike my reading of the Wheel Of Time series, I hope I can make this through to the end.
Re: MAFIA XXXVII: THE WHEEL OF WEB-TIME
@flash2015 - I didn't even realize the Wheel of Time was a book series until you mentioned it... guess it's not worth looking up.
@Ike - et tu Brute... I expected this of Teacher2... indeed I will preemptively ##VOTE Teacher2 ... but it hurts even more coming from you. Surely this time we will both be on the same team...

Re: MAFIA XXXVII: THE WHEEL OF WEB-TIME
It was awesome for the first few books, then RJ lost his way...and he was NK before he was able to finish it. Eventually another author took over his PR roll but I had long lost interest by then.
Re: MAFIA XXXVII: THE WHEEL OF WEB-TIME
Are you accusing Brandon Sanderson of being the Serial Killer or the Traitor?
Re: MAFIA XXXVII: THE WHEEL OF WEB-TIME
He can't be either - to take over his role, he would have to be on the same side.
Re: MAFIA XXXVII: THE WHEEL OF WEB-TIME
Wow, this is quiet! And here was I worried about not being active enough...
Re: MAFIA XXXVII: THE WHEEL OF WEB-TIME
(Am I remembering the sign up thread correctly that you're new, or is that someone else?)
Re: MAFIA XXXVII: THE WHEEL OF WEB-TIME
No, I haven't played before though I had read through some of the previous game and looked up all the terms/acronyms so I am trying to throw them around like I actually know something.
I assume the goal of this first day is largely idle banter? We won't really know much until the first poor sucker (hopefully not me) is lynched and the first NK happens?
