As a QPR fan I was watching the latest from the Britannia more closely than the Etihad! Whilst it would have been nice to add City to the scalps of Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham, it was Stoke's equalizer in the end that ensured we stayed up!

Shocker, a team that spent 920 million pounds bought (err..won) the EPL title.

Despite the heartbreak, still an impressive (domestic) season for United. They'll be back.

Not a fan, but delighted that Arsenal got 3rd. Of all the teams chasing Champions League spots, I feel they'd have been the most severely damaged had they not got it.

Spurs -- I reckon you'll be alright. Fate is smiling on Chelsea this year, but MUN might be one step too far.

Newcastle, great season. Good luck holding on to --well-- pretty much everybody on the team.

City, you were the best team this season, to be fair. But all things considered it should not have been this close. Enjoy this success. I have a sneaking suspicion that in 4-5 yrs or so you will be what Chelsea are now.

Wish Bolton had stayed up and QPR had gone down. Sigh.

All in all, a great season. Lots of twists. I think it may well go down as one of the greatest ever, or at least in the PL era.

Glad to see United fail, as always. I was hoping Newcastle would get in the top 4, but it wasn't to be. Unfortunately, Chelsea, United and City will all spend shedloads again this summer so they will be well ahead of the chasing pack.

I fancy Arsenal to get fourth next season if they keep hold of RVP, though it will be interesting to see what purchases Spurs make. Even Liverpool weren't as far off as it seemed at the end this season; a good goalscorer and a bit better luck and they'll be right there for fourth.

Now it's the offseason, when every team is dreaming that they will have a "Newcastle summer," where every signing is just what they need, no one important gets injured, and they have a huge improvement next season. Unfortunately it will only happen to one or two teams, but we can all think that ours will be the one, just this once.
