There has been talk about making another app that was nothing more than a bridge for this site, allowing you to keep track of this through facebook. Saying that, I've been away from here for about a month so I'm rather out the loop now and it might have been cancelled.

i was trying to introduce my friend to diplomacy cause i saw him playing risk on his itouch and thought he might like something much better

From what I can tell, this is the current phpDiplomacy presence on facebook:

There is an Application called "Diplomacy" running version 0.82 of phpDiplomacy. They seem to have a fairly large user base, but it's a whole other community completely independent from this one ("4,853 monthly active users", "1,765 fans"). Since they have to port the code to the facebook platform, the version is trailing behind what is being run on this site.

There are two Groups: "Web Diplomacy!" (14 members, open) and "Web Diplomacy" (4 members, private). The first is a general fan club that has a link to this site. The second group just seems to a group created by a user named "Cyph" to coordinate players for a private game.


There is a also facebook Page called "Diplomacy" (http://www.facebook.com/diplomacy) with "3,828 People Like This", but this page only promotes the website playdiplomacy.com

@Ghostmaker posted the link to yet another phpDiplomacy group "php Diplomacy Wargames", which has a 32 members and ostensibly links out to a private installation of phpDiplomacy (now seems to be offline)

@figlesquidge, I'm not saying that it can't be done. I'm just pointing out the current state that independent Diplomacy application.

@figles. probably but you can;t get wifi everywhere on the itouch. plus he's lazy. us teens
