Someone asked if the game is readable; I think the answer is yes - it's public press, so the chat should be available to all. Not sure if it'll roll past a certain point, because it's been pretty active so far.

OMG I am horrified to see that my 11-year old niece was reading this thread yesterday. I was teaching her how to play and she was actually pretty good-I let her try a live game for a while and she was fairly decent. StevenC stabbed us and she lit right into him with insults. Apparently she got on the forum when I left the room for a few minutes, because she must have written that comment above. Which means she read all the dirty crap you guys wrote before that.

Yep. I can't remember writing anything remotely like that. ANd she was on my account at that point yesterday playing a live game.

No we discussed this already while setting up the live game. THe other players wanted her to play 1 country and me to play another but that would have definitely been a problem. I had to tell her what to do and enter half the moves for her. By the end she was picking it up great though and could maybe do it herself in the future

geofram once said I was rude........mmmm but nobody else seemed to nominate me. but I can be pretty rude at times but I can usually tell who is going to win by 1903 and I am usually right .................olny two times out of all the games I have played I have ever been wrong. but anyway when people keep helping that person I ususally get super pissed and call them idiots.

@tilMletokill - knowing you, like hellalt, you call them fucking morons or some such. A sure way to endear them to your way of thinking and get them on your side. Why some people don't realize that logical presentation and appealing to a person's ego will get them over to your side and cussing them out/calling them names in game will not, I will never understand.

@ Onar; probably because you had stabbed someone in one game or another. That sort of behavior is frowned upon in a gentleman's (or gentlewoman's:) game like Diplomacy.

Well, I read some of the messagens on this game, and I now I get what LOL really means. Hope this keep going that way :-)
