Papula, its quite common to see support moves in gunboat games, if you enlarge to the bigger map you will also see many failed support moves as well. its the way you can "communicate" with another player

Guys, you're missing moves because of this blatter.

papula, what you do is you look at what you think another country will try to do. And if it is both likely and beneficial to you, then you order a support of that move if you are in position to do so. Educated guesses happen all the time in gunboat games. If you don't try to do it yourself then you are putting yourself at a disadvantage.

Also, you can use educated guesses to support an enemy for your benefit. For example, if he has a unit in Kiel and Munich and Ruhr is empty, you might think he will have Kiel and Munich bounce in Ruhr to keep you out. So you have Belgium support Munich to Ruhr and move Burgundy into the now empty Munich. (This also works quite well in normal games of course.)

I think I might be the only bona fide player on this site. The rest of you are just *one person* playing a heap of multi's - just to make me feel like a loser when you kick my ass.
