Just an FYI

ok i realize it came out way back in may

but was 21st century breakdown a good CD at all? i thought american idiot was ok, and ive heard very mixed opinions on green days latest. im considering buying it.

Dislodging yourself?

Are you not allowed to dislodge one of your own units in this version of diplomacy? I supported an attack on one of my own fleets so I could disband and place an army, but the order failed. Any idea why?

New games are not working

Since the 'new' look for the site, I've tried joining 3 games with my mates, all of which have failed to show up once the entrance time is done.
Does anyone else have this problem? Know of any solutions?

Sitter Wanted

I'm going on a two week Holiday on Friday. I need a sitter for my games during that time: Thanks for helping.
I'm trying to get as many games finished as possible during that time. I've only currently got 6 going and at leats one of those should finish before I leave. Thank you.

I reported that a while back. The game hasn't (yet) reappeared. It was gameID=9237.

Kestas, any news on the recovery of this game?

sounds like I should have finished you up and either solo'ed or drawn with DJ, as I may not level up to B because TGM upgrades, then takes withdrawls... should have asked before we drew those games...

yeah. but TGM is actually still figuring that out. it might not be that way in the end.

still, we probably should have wiped friendly sword off the map in game 3 ;D

But sorry about that. As much as I can be considering the circumstances. And now that I think about it... when DO the leagues start again? If it is the Spring, I may be able to be in the next one after all. :S I would have given you my spot in any case fk, but if the alternative is someone else...

Interesting, this might help me get to the bottom of this bug. Did you vote for a draw or anything like that? Was the game about to finish anyway?

About the missing game STA it's on the todo list, but it'd be ideal to nab the bug causing it first before restoring it, thanks for being patient

Thanks Kestas. In game 9237, for reasons I wont go into, some of us had voted for a draw in a game about to be won by one of those who voted for a draw.

@Friendly Sword: If you ever would fall below 100

(including those bet on an active games) you go back up to 100 so you can always keep playing.

October, hopefully.

If they are in November, then its clear that we aren't going to be able to catch up (six months per season, 12 months per year, 2 seasons per year >>> no way of catching up) so I'd think about delaying until February to give people (myself included) a good long rest, and hopefully to avoid the GFDT a bit.

@realitycheque - i thought it was if your total points (including invested in games) go below 100? and in any case, FS participated in the draw, and got more points than he should have (as did i) so that's where part of the bug seems to be.

I am aware of this; however with 700+ invested in several games, it is quite evident that I did not meet the given requirement for being 'topped up'. :)

Good to Kestas on the job- seems like a serious bug.

I am rather new

Since everyone feels it popular to announce when they leave, I have decided to announce that I have recently joined and I thoroughly enjoy diplomacy.

Just in case anyone had the impression that more people left webdiplomacy than joined.

A player takes over CD. Immediately backstabbed.

Let's say you have an ally but due to Civil Disorder someone else takes him over. Would you consider it a back-stab if they attack you since they can read all your previous conversations?
