Ah, how little has the human race changed in its existence that one is still prone to judge due to a name.
I believe a man once wrote: "Would not a rose by any other name smell as sweet, so too Romeo would, if were he not Romeo called."
I think that author knew a little something about writing.
So yes- rather troubling that still you judge a man because his name sounds like, to a certain degree, a terrorist.
And hating because he's a MUSLIM (which Obama isn't anyway, but let's play along here for a bit)?
You know I am a HUGE Zionist, HUGELY pro-Israel and
anti-Iran/Hamas/Hezbollah.
But I DON'T hate Muslims- Muslim is just a title, Islam is just a faith.
All titles can be distorted to mean something ugly, and all faiths can be exploited and twisted to fit the desires and philosophy of a villian.
James Buchanon, Andrew Johnson, Richard Nixon- all
"American-sounding" names: all, in their own way, failed presidents in the end.
I don't care if the man is named Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, Roosevelt, Kennedy, or Reagan; the name doesn't make a good leader.
A good leader makes a good name.
Cheers, Mr. Obama- and the best of luck restoring our country
