Because of the snafu, the registration deadline will be a little later. I will disable registrations at or a little after 18:00 UTC this coming Friday, November 7th.

Turns for Round 1 will be 25 hours, though they may be extended for the final round. If enough people have concerns about the turn length, I'm willing to consider changing it.

It's worth noting that it doesn't hurt to re-register if you are unsure if you registered before or after the database came back online as the registration script will reject duplicates.

fig, unfortunately, I don't know a way to ensure it's the user in question unless I had Kestas host a registration form or forged an authentication. I'm not willing to do the second one and don't want to bother Kestas with the first. I doubt anyone would be registering another person anyway, as it would do them no good if the account never joined their games.

What is the state of play of the GFDT? I abstained from joining new games because I do not want to run out of D-points... when is the tournament due to start?

Tournament is due to start early next week, final call for registration will be out later today. If you save 10 D-points you'll be good for Round 1.
