We've had a number of fabulous players on this site over the years who just so happen to be women. Women are more than able to play Diplomacy. Plenty of them could kick your ass.

As for your joke, everyone understood that it was a joke. The issue is that the joke was in poor taste. It wouldn't be a huge problem, but you're doubling down on it with more hostility rather than apologizing or even just ceasing to discuss it.
