It's run by the great Jim Burgess, a terrific TD, and always features high quality face-to-face play. It's four rounds over three days, but there's always time to check out the other games, have a drink, and meet cool people. Obviously there are awards for top three finishes and best countries, and it's also the first leg in the Nor'Easter, a string of four tournaments in the northeast.
If money is an issue, there's two rooms already reserved by Jim at a "pay what you can" rate. I'm happy to offer two people a ride from the Boston area (already giving another player a lift). If time is an issue, then come for one game, or two, or whatever you want- there's no commitment to stay the whole weekend if you don't want there to be.
If you're interested, check out templecon.org for details on the event, and/or PM me for details on the tournament. This is a great opportunity to get some FtF play and meet some other Dippers- hope to see you there!
