Is it a bit premature to announce the next banning, I have watched Minority Report so maybe there is a way we can prevent it before anyone gets hurt. Has anyone got 3 fit naked women and a big bath and some electric cable and a monitor, that should help.

There will never be another person on this site like Putin. The other trolls were of similar right-wing mold, but Putin was one of a kind.

zultar: Firstly, I'd like to acknowledge your PM from last month about the statistics from the poll. I was impressed that you had noticed my post and taken time to reply via PM. I had meant to reply to your PM with suggestions for the website (many of which I had previously voiced in threads I posted before you joined the site), but have been too busy. I'm still rather busy, but I can't help but raise concerns regarding Putin33's banning. I've never complained about a banning before.

Firstly, I have to admit that I've not followed closely Putin33's quarrels with moderators in the Forum. Other than a few strange accusations directed at the mod team which sounded rather uncharacteristic of Putin33, I noticed nothing out of the ordinary. Nor have I been able to catch up, since Putin33's "replies" user page comes up with a "Fatal error" (presumably because he has posted so many times). And of course I do not know the contents of his e-mail exchange with the moderator G-mail. But I do know this: Putin33 was constantly heckled and abused by krellin-like users on the Forum solely for his personal beliefs. (Many of these users, by the way, have historically made a habit of deriding and attempting to discredit the political opinions and personal life of any forum user they manage identify as a student or a government employee.) After so many recent bannings, it is not at all surprising that Putin33 would have started aggressively complaining about those abusive users which for whatever reason remained unbanned. Nor is it surprising that he would shoot back unapologetically at these users with personal attacks. That is all I can say regarding the rationale you present for Putin33's banning given the limited information you provided in your post. This, however, brings me to the moderator team's response. Is it really necessary to ban a user who, the best of my knowledge has not broken any site rule? Separately, is it really necessary to take a Forum issue, which may warrant a Forum silencing to avoid conflict, and outright ban an offending user?

Putin33 was a heckler and an abuser himself, how many times have people been in a debate with others only to have Putin come in mid argument and lead off with a personal attack. Am I guilty of the same thing at times? Sure. But don't make Putin some kind oppressed ideologue, he gave as bad, in many cases, much worse than he got.

If you want to discuss something privately feel free. Until then I will respond to what I see on the forum.

I think JECE has a point. Might there not have been a case for giving Putin, say, a year-long silence, but still letting him play games?

i got banned when it wasnt my fault. However, I think that the conversations between these moderators and Putin33 should be released, then we could have public opinion on it
