Then you didn't get the point of it or the final scenes and missed a lot. The stroy arc is really quite interesting and begs the question: Were we seeing Baby Doll's final dream or was it actually Sweet Pea's story? Sweet Pea is the narrator after all and fantasy kicke din when Sweet Pea and Baby Doll saw each other during Sweet Pea's therapy session on stage.

We also learn at the end when reality fully returns that and Baby Doll's lobotomy is completed that she had started a fire, stabbed an orderly, and managed to help another patient escape. We then see sweet pea getting on a bus to Fort Wayne and is rescued by the bus driver who says he just let her off to use the restroom as his wasn't working when the cops want to talk to her. Interestingly, the bus driver is the old man in all the action sequences, another one of her angels.

If you sit down and watch it but fast forward through all save the train/bomb action sequence (it has some quasi real implications in its actions), you might gain a new respect for the overall story and be able to overlook the glamorization and sexualization of the patients.

Yo YJ -- "excuse to get a bunch of overly sexualised youg women into a series of fight scenes, with no substance." Sweet! Movie night at my house, Friday, 8 PM...be there or be square!

Do watch it, krellin. The subtext is on par with some ofbthe best dream within a dream movies.

Draug - saw parts of it a while back, but wife hated it, so I don't think we finished it. But it's on Netflix, I think -- I'll check it out again.

But *only* if my bud YJ comes over and brings me Cheetos.
