Cheating accusations on the forum should not be allowed because it just lets other people see that, they assume the person who accuses them is right, and they don't like playing against them. I have been accused of cheating twice, both were wrong, one was even on my first win... That made me sad.

I think the fact that mods allow second chances makes the rule that accusations should not be posted on the forums needed.

Let's say player A and player B are accused of being multi's. The mods investigate and find the acussation is true, but decide to give him another chance since he seemed to deeply regert his decision, and only ban the player b account.

If the accusation was made via email, then people will still want to play with player a, provided he doesn't have some other quality that makes people dislike him (ie, poor skill, not drawing with cd/resign, only hitting save, etc)

If it was on the forums, people will never play with player a, since anyone can look at player b's account and see the acussation was right. I am sure that many people would then blacklist that player, since he might just multi again.

I agree that accusations should be made to the mods to investigate, rather than in open forum. Cheating is disgraceful and ruins games, but some players may accuse others of cheating simply because they can't read other players diplomacy.

I agree with Sarg! The mods should transfer 50 of Sarg's points to Zmaj at their earliest opportunity! Hell, why not make it 500?

Dock Zmaj 50 for making the original accusation.
Give Zmaj 50 for changing his mind. Who does that here?
Take 500 from Sarg because no one likes him. :)
Give 500 to Octavious because he made the original suggestion.
Charge a 10% flat rate tax on the top 10 players with the most points and use that to sponsor a zultarcare system where points can be loaned out to the poorest players or those who can't seem to get over 1000 despite years of playing here. Abge, I've reserved space for you, and oh Draugnar as well. :)

We don't have special interest groups here, rokakoma. Suck it up and deal with the 10% tax rate. It's a hell of a lot cheaper than real life.
