Muting Mods
When Thucydides left the site for a bit, he made an announcement on the forum and his mod powers were revoked. Someone suggested the idea of muting him to see what happened when he came back and his mod powers were restored. (You can't mute mods.) So, I did. I have now looked at his profile and discovered that he is now a mod again. However, I cannot unmute him.

A Final Game
I doubt many people will remember me, but I used to be quite a keen player on the site. I left almost a year ago now, but am back and determined to organize one final (and hopefully epic) game.

I want the game to be of the highest quality/excitement possible. It would be nice to play with "old timers" I've played before, but my priority's getting the best players possible involved.

The game will be WTA, anon with 36 hour phases.
Pauses granted if necessary (I will need one for a week starting February 9th) but should be avoided if at all possible.

The buy-in I'd like to be as high as people feel comfortable with (if we can make 4 figures that would be ideal) but I'm happy to go as low as is necessary to get the best players.

Anyone and everyone please express your interest below, along with the maximum buy-in you would be comfortable with.

Hey davebishop, it's great that you're back, not great that you're going to leave again (why leave anyway, when you can just... stay ;))

So count me in if you think I'm good enough. It has been quite a long time since I played a hardcore dip game. 36 hours is perfect, in my opinion. Not quite as limiting as 24, but still fairly long.

Also, hey Friendly Sword. WHAT THE FUCK?

Where have you been? Have you been back on the site this whole time without saying anything or did you re-introduce yourself while I was in Senegal (November and early December)???? good to see you all the same. Even if not both of us are in davebishop's game, let's play one.

Any graduate student/professor of Psychology on this site?
I am interested in doing a correlational study concerning the game of Diplomacy and its players. For starter, I want to correlate myers-briggs/keirsey personalities and general intelligence with game performance, chat frequency, and country preference.
