No, I'm going to let my current games run their course and play only live. We'll be getting ready for summer vacation and it was a pain last year trying to keep up with games. I'll pick up games in August.

You were only giving something for the Italian to think...
Even getting StP... you would never be able to get the win...Italy had you blocked in MAO and going down from STP was almost impossible...
But if you made me disband units the Italian could eventually (difficult I know) go formy centers in the balkans...
And... he just had to put tunis in NAF and MAO would be his... Think about that and maybe you should have drawn earlier...


As for my play:
Great alliance early frindship with Germany...
Some crucial and good moves fighting Austria and Turkey.
Mistake: not accept the supports from Italy and ally with him... should have stabbed Germany...if I wanted the win (which I always want I had to go Nothwest, not shouth)
On the other hand... Germany made quite a bad attack/stab... so the 3 way draw was a matter of time...

The turning point of the game was when Turkey popped his fleet and kept his army intact. Honestly, I was going to stab Austria that year anyway, but disbanding the Turkish fleet made the decision much easier. Frank made a crucial misorder that year that let me keep Venice and got me a build in Trieste. I was fine seeing Russia grow into

My half effective stab of France secured my place in the 3WD, my hope was that it would speed Germany's growth and cause RG tension, which it did, though I was nervous for a hot minute when Germany just kept building fleets.

At the end of the game Russia and I had solo prospects, but Germany was effectively done with his growth unless we were willing to throw builds his way. I thought Russia's prospects were stronger than mine, so I was prepared to give up Iberia to Germany if I started losing, but to prevent the solo, I would have needed 4 fleets to hold a line at Tunis, so I would have had to rely on Russia's good will with my home centers. I'm glad it didn't come to that. GG all.
