@sys- I don't think it is a record, i feel like i've heard someone had closer to 30, but you have quite the record so try to keep that up, your GR is going to skyrocket if you do

Good game for you but personally I think it's a bit low class. No offense intended but to intentionally wait just to get more sc's is not very sportsman like. You only need 18- Your GR will be higher because of it but that shouldn't be the point. Your opponents deserve more respect than that in my opinion.

@C-K: His opponent CD'd so I don't think he deserves any respect. If the other player was not NMRing I would agree that it was a bit bad, but someone who NMR's deserves to get 7 of his SC's taken.

No, your GR won't be higher because any win in PPSC is considered to be 18 centres.

Diplomacy is a game for seven pedigree rats. Any talk of sportsmanship needs to go play parlour games with the ladies.

I am first to agree that the game was not among the harderst -- with the exception of the beginning when I had to lure Germany to join me against the very experienced England. I of course hoped more from this game - with a 50 point buy-in and all. But, the CD's didn't affect the result. All was settled much before them.

But, let's hope the next game will be more challencing. I've met some very interesting players here, so maybe I will finally open a game of my own and invite some of those cunny diplomacy monsters in. :)

One hell of a game, this one. Luckily I managed to survive. I wasn't happy with Sys_Error 'granting' his ally 16 centers but I also wasn't in the position of being able to do something about it (except protesting, yelling and screaming). Except for the end I greatly enjoyed this game :)

You certainly fought hard and deserved to survive. Sorry for my "unsportmanship". :) Sometimes I just reward my allies, although this time I of course ate most of the cake myself in the end... The temptation grew all too great!
