At my high school we have a Strategy Gaming Club where we can play many different games(half of it's members play Yugioh for some reason). At the center of the classroom after school a large table is set up where some of us decide to either play Axis and Allies: Anniversary Edition or Diplomacy.

The advantage of FTF Diplomacy is that you can read the other's players' faces to see what they are planning. On the flipside, the other players can read your face to guess what you are planning.

What I like about online, is that nobody knows hwose talking to who. In FtF, that is impossible.

Any one that can tell me the basic premis.
Played Fortress America but lacks real strategy...

Now having played both FtF and online it is hard to find FtF players. The skill level of most people locally are not even close to the level found here. Online is far more challenging than FtF for me. I like Online better.
The short time I have been here I have learned so much. So for me online is better. I have never played an experienced person FtF tho..

I like FtF better in an ideal world, but you get better opposition here than in FtF, where I've always been the only experienced player. People at school didn't quite get the game- there was virtually no negotiation, no attempt to keep secrets or anything. There was one point where my ally, Germany, showed me his moves, which included leaving Sweden when I, England was in Norway. A rapid change of orders and he was dead inside two years.
