Well it was very repetitive, so it's bound to stick in your mind.

After some of the rubbish we (Britain) have produced in recent contests I was pleasantly surprised at our song. Shame that L-W's lyrics were absolute rubbish because our singer actually had a fantastic voice.

I agree though, I loved the Norwegian song. Definitely deserved the win.

'europe' in this sense counts as all the countries that are members of the European Brkascasting Union. That covers Europe and the Mediterranean rim. Morocco entered in 1980 and Lebanon was due to enter a few years ago but let it be known that they wouldn't broadcast the Israeli entry and were thrown out of the contest. Palestine is elligible to enter in 2010. Egypt could theoretically :)

Well I was just pleased that the UK song wasn't an embarrassment, like usual. Norway was the best song, deserved to win.

The EU is NOT one nation. That's possibly the most preposterous statement I've ever heard.

Most of the songs are in English, it's like that every year. There's usually a few that use their own language, France for example. Bosnia and Herzegovina also used their native tongue this year, and a few others.

had a look at a few more songs online , is Germany stuck in the 80s? yuck that was horrible. oh greece's song was really poor too. UK's Jade a nice looking creature with a good voice but that song came off a bit selfish and dumb.

And the UK's song was written by Lord Webber... I don't know how famous he is outside the UK, so if you haven't heard of him he writes musical theatre.
