Any ideas for which variant, or you just feel like playing anything different?

i dont really mind, like i said my preferences are for either an intensive press game or maybe something like the un variant but im easy

i'd be up for intensive press. or touch is also quite fun. maybe with turns that aren't too too long?

i had a bad experience with touch in my last game, i pretty much got raped from the start, well depending on the variant would depend on the turn length no more than 48 but prob more like 36

i'm not a big fan of using rape as a metaphor, because of the number of close relatives and friends who have actually been raped. i'm sure you weren't trying to be offensive, but just a heads up that some people aren't into that.

that aside, are you saying no to touch? intensive press then? i'm not really familiar with UN. 36 or less would be good for phase in my opinion.

well let's see what other interest there is. i'd like to be as sure as possible of no CDs.

thats why i want a highish pot and also trusted/reliable players

you can only send press to countries when you have units in adjoining spaces, its more indepth but thats the basis

@whitesammy - i think that's a little different than referring to being defeated in a game as being "raped" which i've seen happen a number of times on the forum. people will say what they want to say, but they just also deserve to know what others thing about such expressions. does that make sense?

if that song gave that person some empowerment, that's great. other survivors may also feel positive about it or not, but that's another conversation, i think.

i'd rather higher, but if we get enough commitments and a password, then i'm willing to go with 50 or lower. i'm just so tired of people going CD.

well as il password protect it im sure we wont get any cds, the points we can decide when we have enough players
