Help.
How do you deal with unprovoked verbal violence in a game. I know it isn't against a site rules. But if I mute a player will it mute them in a game thread?

Webdip Conservatives have convinced me my world view is flawed.
I have decided to become a Republican and a Libertarian because the arguments made on this forum have convinced me the Democrat party is no better than the pro-slavery radicals of the 1860's. I have learned that tax cuts for the wealthy, deportations, and putting business and moneymaking ahead of health of US citizenry is paramount

It is always darkest before the dawn
Given the Don Jr. revelations, this might seem like a bleak time for the Republicans, but if they can wait out the media coverage without breaking rank they will be have saved Trump. There is no larger shoe yet to drop and it will be morning in America again.

Why shouldnt North Dakota have a nuclear weapons programme?
The US has nuclear weapons. We got silos and shit all over Montana/ND and SD. Who are we to say that North Dakota is not entitled to secede and have their own nuclear arsenal?
Jamiet99uk (1307 D)

Everyone in North Dakota has the right to bear arms. Gun wankers claim this is to hold the gover'mint to account and allow the people to overthrow an unjust gub'mint.

The government has nuclear arms.

Pro-nuke conservatives often argue that the US can only protect itself against other nuclear powers by having nukes too.

Therefore it logically follows that citizens of North Dakota have a constitutional right to own nuclear arms.

unfortunately, this is an exact replica of most gun advocate logic.
your 2nd amendment right to bear arms defeats my right to avoid getting shot. or nuked.

I just don't trust a failed and erratic state like North Dakota to act in a rational fashion with nuclear arms.

@ND: I have some questions for you:

1. Do you believe that one of the main reasons for people being constitutionally allowed to bear arms was/is to prevent federal tyranny? YES or NO?

ND (879 D)
06 Jul 17 UTC
I own a lot of guns all are for home security. I believe a reason for the second d amendment is to prevent foreign aggression, hostile actors, and tyrants
ND (879 D)
06 Jul 17 UTC
My reason for ownership is home security and I do have two guns including a 1936 ussr rifle for historical value.
ND (879 D)
06 Jul 17 UTC
Well two historical guns in addition to my modern ones for above stated reasons
Jamiet99uk (1307 D)

Could "tyrants" mean a federal government overstepping it's constitutional authority? Many of your fellow conservatives seem to think so.

I know this is a joke, but as someone who once lived in North Dakota it's worth mentioning that, yes, North Dakota does have a lot of silos, particularly near Minot afb. Also, the personnel who guard these solos are subjected to some very difficult testing and drills to maintain their credential for guarding such, which it was revealed some years back that they had been cheating on. So maybe that's an argument against?

i think we all understand the implications of this: twitter is a digital forum open to the public, but it's also privately operated and it has set rules. the decision on this case is going to have sweeping effects on the internet and internal law alike

Why shouldn't North Korea have a nuclear weapons programme?
The US has nuclear weapons. The UK does. France does. China does. Russia does. Israel probably does. India and Pakistan might also.

Who are we to say that North Korea is not similarly entitled?
