Yeah, and that was fucking annoying because I would have been easily able to give a real defense if I had time, because the cases against me in M12 were actually pretty shitty. They just HAPPENED to be correct.

@Y2K, I consider my greatest moment of the game was reading you as scum in my final case at LYLO, and having you read me as town for my sincere but wrong effort.

I honestly feel like I've been groomed as scum and can somehow easily pick it out from the first posts of a number of people, it's just hard to argue for with little information it's based on. I think I'd pick scum better if I went purely from my gut and not from intense reads and vote analysis..

@OB: (sincerely would like to know this) what was the purpose of your first reads list in the game? It seemed so unhelpful, waffly, and insincere that I had to read it as scummy -- I was quite surprised when I saw the Info thread marking you as town.

Can you explain that reads list?

And, could we try to avoid town posting stuff like that in the future?

I'd also say that the way people ask questions to their scumreads then pounce on that person for being "defensive" when they're simply providing answers to the initial questions/scumread should stop.

Calling someone "defensive" for answering questions/defending themselves against false reads didn't seem helpful to town -- and only really plays into mafia hands -- this happened every successive Day, when the main lynch candidates were further scorned whenever they bothered to answer and rebut the claims against them.

Srsly tho just lynch me :-(

Oh, I should apologise to wjessop for D2. You were correct in that I'd put more effort in if it didn't fall on a weekend; but I simply have no time for making cases at the weekend because I work all day and night Friday, all day Saturday, get drunk all night Saturday, and then work all day Sunday too. So I coasted on your lynch and hoping Capt hadn't made a complete fool of himself (he had), rather than forcing through the uclabb lynch that really should've happened that day.

@guak - I felt like you hadn't followed the game closely and maybe hadn't caught up reading the thread. Also you seemed kind of disninterested in the game and just wanted it over. Also, I kept saying you were lurking and not being part of the game and it wasn't until very late in the day that you finally said you were.Anyway, I figured you were out of touch with the game and I thought I was right about the lynch.

@WJ - That "reads" list was really just my D1 notes. Everything I said about it was true. It was my D1 notes after not being able to follow the thread closely for the first 36 hours. I got up really early and read through the thread and made notes as I went. Had I known what a shit storm it was going to breed, Inever would have posted them. I still think they were not as bad as some reads lists I've seen in this game, even much later than D1. What was it about them you found so offensive?

@OB: I just found that they added hardly anything at all of value to the game. So the fact that you posted a long reads list that was essentially meaningless made me highly suspicious of why you'd try to feed us that. And looked like 2 long posts intended to give the appearance of effort, while also covering your phase requirement of 2 posts. Also, you're generally much better than that, so it struck me as out of character.

I figured that you wouldn't need any selfies where you were going, haha!

@wj, it was a rush job. I'll own that it was a terrible list unworthy of posting. It sure got a lot of mileage though for one post. Perhaps it was blown a little out of proportion. I felt like I lived the rest of the game trying to shake the scum stink off me.
