Bump for public consciousness.
This EOG did not make my list. It will be apparent why.
threadID=1143931Started on page 1200 and going backward. Went through to page 1150 so far. I've read the entire archives forwards from the beginning before so I thought it would be interesting to go backwards this time. As long as the threads are locked so I don't skip anything doesn't really matter.
Someday we should also have a discussion about EOGs. What they are for. Who they are for. How detailed and honest they should be. What they should include. What they shouldn't include. Here is a sample of a conversation I had with someone I have the utmost respect for.

"Do you trust EOGs? So often the players that do well seem to use them to make every fluke and fortunate happenstance look like it was intensely planned strategy."
"It's a definite issue. This is why games I'm interested in EOGing I keep a running log and I publish it as-is at the end, not even correcting typos. For both my sake and the sake of others.
I rarely, and only reluctantly, give an EOG that was entirely written after the game and when I do I tend to be more objective/descriptive and vague when it comes to what I expected/thought would happen or why I did things.
It's mostly about being another resource for bringing one's game to the next level. And to encourage more/thoughtful EOGs in the future."
