I already designed something else for someone else, but that has not gone online (yet). I say that for 2 reasons: so you know that I have some experience and so you know that I could show you what I designed before to see how skilled I actually am/was.
I use HTML (+HTML5), CSS and maybe a tiny bit of Javascript, but that would really just be for some tricks. Javascript is by no means something I'm trained at.
For the ones who don't know what that means, it means that I can give you as many pages and as much text as you want, links, navigation through many pages, pictures, external video's (posted on youtube for example), music (never tried that actually but I think so) etc. as well as design it in any way you want with colours, fonts, letter sizes, boxes, background pictures, also making it compatible for smaller(/bigger) devices, making things compatible for different browsers etc.
So far, that's (arguably almost) only static stuff. Pop-ups, special effects and such are on the edge of what I know and don't know right now.
Way beyond that edge is stuff that involves gathering data and such. I could decide to learn that, but I don't have those skills right now. I have the open mind to work around many issues using static features though.
I am willing to learn some other things depending on other factors such as the cause and/or money. Which brings me to another relevant bit...
I like money, but there are things I would probably do for free. I don't commit for free though, so while I would probably work on it and perhaps finish it, I reserve the right to stop at any moment if I find a better way to spend my holiday. I might find myself more eager to continue writing my book, just to name something. Deadlines and such are still good to know, but I won't promise making any of them if I get nothing in return. I might end up considering it a serious commitment nonetheless, but I will try hard not to say so if I do. I just don't want to risk ending up waving unexpected cool events or such goodbye because I'm too busy doing something voluntarily I.committed to.
Nominal fee and I'll treat it like a serious project. Normal fee and you'll have a hard time stopping me from sinking too many hours into it and going for perfection. You don't have to pay for overtime though, unless you want to :)
Like I said though, I'll do some things for free, so even if you don't want to pay me, suggestions/proposals are good.
