How does the ghost disrupt a phone qt when both people have access?

So basically heres how it works, lets say Player A has a cell phone, and Player B has a cell phone and the ghost is (Not A or B). The ghost could haunt player A or B that night and for the rest of the game the ghost could be lurking in their QT reading what they are saying, and the Ghost can also speak in that QT. Disrupt means the Ghost just opts to anon-post and start saying random stuff in there. Obviously for fairness purposes they should just post using the name Ghost

I did a lot of research for both the flavour names and the role concepts. I felt it would be interesting to talk about the fact that there have actually been crimes in Amish communities and one of the problems they typically have is they do not like to go to law enforcement, they tend to be pacifist, and are highly secretive. Soltzfuss the principal bad guy in the flavour is actually a real amish guy who led a gang that took over an amish community.

Jedediah as a few people know is a long running joke yoyo and I have had since the first time I ever played as scum with DO and yoyo on epic mafia. I started joking around that my name was Jedediah and I was Amish. and I ended up winning the game as scum lol.

Did any of this "research" consist of watching Amish Mafia?

nope. I watched alot of documentaries about shunning, alot of tales about people escaping oppressive amish communities, and I read a lot of stories about real crime in amish communities.

Also the series Banshee was a mild inspiration.

"Gelassenheit – During the night you can select one living person. If you die that night, or are lynched the following day, the role of the person you selected will be revealed to everyone in the game, unless they are the Ghost."

If Gelas is pitchforked or shot during the day, nothing is revealed?

Any form of death triggers Oracle/ Glassenheit. including pitchfork or being shot.

Is the Pragmatist informed if he was successful in depriving someone of a QT? Is someone without a QT informed that they were visited by the Pragmatist?

The only person who will learn if they are cut out if a QT. maf or cell is the person affected. Pragmatist will not know if they did it successfully. The player affected wont know why. Only that their QT is no longer available to them.

However itd be fairly obvious to mafia if a member vanishes and never posts again. If a mafia member is hit by pragmatist there will be a new maf qt created to prevent the person affected from seeing any future correspondence. So itd be fairly obvious what happened to the mafia.

If the Ghost reveals himself to gain lynch immunity, is this confirmed by the GM?

Yep. There will be a public system message if that happens.

Any discrepencies you guys notice are being corrected and there will be an Edited/Corrections post at the Start of Game accompanying the Chapter 1 flavour. I apologize if there are typos or formatting issues. I can assure you that I have proofread this thing for months now but there is always subtle context errors in games like this.

Why don't you three just let the thread you created die and post a game thread when the game is actually starting? Use this one until then. We only need one mafia thread at a time. For whatever reason, nobody seems to get that.

Yeah, but the old one has formatting and grammar issues, along with incorrect information. A new one would be preferable if we let the old one die and you give a once over to what you have.

the GM team voted 3-0 Unanimously to bump these players down to being replacements for their negative attitude towards M20 in general. We beleive in putting players into M20 who want to play. Not players who want to ridicule the GM's. If you do not wish to be a sub, then you may drop out. We have a zero tolerance policy for whining this game.

Am I just interpreting this poorly or is this very circular? Could you explain the notification given when visited by the ghost?

There is no notification that you were visited by the ghost at all. The only time you would ever be notified you were haunted, is if mafia tried to kill you that night. Then you would be told that a Doctor saved your life.

consider the Ghost a 3rd party doctor that curses people. He is sort of your friend, but not your friend.

If you are mafia you would never ever know if you were haunted or not. hence why pretty much the mafia would want to find that ghost and kill it asap.
