I like the idea of that we have things to talk about in small doses leading up to a game. alot of times these threads just feel kinda pointless and theres not enough talk about potential play styles and how this game can improve. One way the game will improve here is game size. the other is that I am a GM, so I wont be spamming the game lol.

the signup thread is like a movie trailer for a fun blockbuster film. It might be fun to have GM's release setups early and wait to post the actual game threads until moments before the game begins. I can tell you that Role PMs will go out at midnight on May 31st. This thread will close and all discussions about your roles will be forbidden until game begins.

We are a week out, but in the spirit of doing things a bit different for this game, I will now present you with our Setup. I am going on vacation friday and work a lot this week so the decision to release our setup early was mostly fueled by that we dont want to blindside the players monday with a setup and limited time to ask questions. There are a few complexities and some new mechanics we have invented.

Did I miss something? I didn't see any reason why the farmer (which I guess means Pig farmer) would know that they'd been haunted.

Yea I saw too. Thats a typo. We originally were gonna go with a farmer that was like a watcher that learned if he was visited but we decided a cop was alot better for roles. so disregard that bit. it will be omitted from the official game thread. good eye. I just finally saw that too.

Haunting: Haunting of a player is revealed on death and will appear evident in the flavour. No role is immune to being haunted. Any haunted player in possession of an item will find that the item does not work properly and the ghost Is actually controlling it. examples include guns, pitchforks and cell phones. However if the Ghost has the phone, it will function normally unless it is stolen, or the Ghost opts to disrupt the person on the other end of the line.
