Fictional Alternate Histories
I've found them to be interesting, especially if you are writing one yourself. It teaches you A LOT about real-world history, and it's interesting to speculate about what COULD have been...

I want to get 7 people together for a game who won't quit in the middle for no reason.
2 day 2 hour phases, ppsc, classic map, 20 point per player pot. If interested, post below and if six people post, I'll start the game and PM you the name and password.

What's up with 5 and 6 player draws?
Looking at results of finished games I see a fair number of those, and I don't get it. Why not just keep playing? Or if someone CDed, why not cancel instead? With that many players, I just can't imagine a situation where no one has the chance to expand further.

Who Am I And Who's Line Is It Anyway?
Ask "yes or no" questions until the identity is guessed, and then the person who guesses correctly takles on an identity and the guessing game begins again (if you're still unclear, look to the title for guidance on how to play this.)

Now, are you ready? (If I said "You Bet Your Life I am!" that'd be too easy to start, huh? OK, I'm thinking of a person...OK, I'm from a play...) ;)

I'll just let the Japanese composer go. She was Keiko Matsui, a well known Japanese Jazz artist. Anyone who knows smooth jazz knows her.

So a dead American Male Actor of color films...

Did you have AIDS?
Sargmacher (0 DX)
22 Mar 11 UTC
No. Such a thing has never been reported on.

Rock Hudson? No :P
figlesquidge (2131 D)
22 Mar 11 UTC
No, I thought it would be a good split point to narrow down the hunt. Could have gone for genre but couldn't think of any way to break them into large enough sections that I wasn't just wasting guesses/time. Did consider asking how much is the largest any of your films had made, but seemed rather boring method.

Are you American? [I'm expecting so, but if not this would be great :P ]
Draugnar (0 DX)
22 Mar 11 UTC
Well, you knew where I was going...

Did you like to race cars and motorcycles?
Draugnar (0 DX)
22 Mar 11 UTC
@figle - already asked and answered. See his review of the questions above.
Draugnar (0 DX)

@Sarge, what has never been reported on? Rock Hudson came out and said he had AIDS.

Wow, I'm blind. Saw the not British, not the is American.
Will save my next question until I've refreshed.

@Sarge, what has never been reported on? Rock Hudson came out and said he had AIDS.

I fail to understand your confusion here. My comments were clearly seperated.
My point was that in answer to your question on who I am, no he did not have AIDS but I added that such a thing has never been reported on. Perhaps an 'although' may have helped.

I then said 'Rock Hudson?' because I figured your AIDS question might have been based on you think it was Hudson. :)

I think you may have it :P

Are you known for your ability to dance?

Hm. Am I comments not showing on the forums for some reason or are they being ignored intentionally?

Draugnar (0 DX)

Gotcha. So your are saying to the best of your knowledge the actor never had AIDS.

Are you Steve McQueen?

Amazing Game
If you have an hour or so, take it an play this game. It is a marvel of storytelling and conception, and quite thought provoking, the beginning is quite frustrating, but check the walk through to help you, the story is worth the time and effort, I promise.

Turkish response to a Western Triple
Lately, I have come across several Western Triple games.
In many of these, Turkey is aiding the R/I/T Counter-alliance that try to oppose the Western Triple.
I always thought that Turkey should take advantage on a Triple, and gobble his eastern neighbours for all he is worth.... What do you think?
