As for the ceasefire, it's well known that the ones that have been called are hugely lopsided. Hostilities don't cease in a sense, because Israel is still allowed to operate its military in Gaza, and during ceasefires it continues to work to destroy tunnels. Is it any surprise they run into militants hiding in them and firefights break out?
